Years ago I considered a build. Thought it would be like building a model plane. Thank God I didn't invest in that project because there is no way I could have completed it back then. Today? I think there is no way I could complete a project such as this. But I'm certainly learning a LOT from your update vids.
Thanks for the mention. You are doing a great job on the build. Did you get the hinge kit for the turtle deck? That 1/2” aluminum angle looks like the hinge support that goes on the inside of the half of the turtle deck that butts up to the windshield.
Nice job and I agree on the #12 reamer. 3/16 AN bolts don't fit the factory reamer. One side note if you are using butt rib close outs you need to have room under the top of your door for the sheet metal to fit on fuselage door frame. They don't tell that in the book. Keep up the good work!
I commend this kid for his diligence, however I hope he pays attention to PKF on his video's, Brian's are one of the best true homebuilder masters. Yes MP is incredible , but not everyone has the resources that MP has. Just like his response ...asking if you need help..Reach out to the ones that really care..they can help!!! I'm sure if MP built Kitfox he would be one as well...Keep it going!!! get back to work!
Phenomenal idea. I wish I would have known that from the start. The builder's tool kit comes with the 3/16 reamer and instructions call for it so I just mistakingly had faith in the manual.

Nice progress. I have a S7 SS shipping from the factory on Feb 4th. Will be watching your videos again when the build comes round.
Find me on Instagram @7kilofox. I'd be happy to help you out.
@@7KiloFox How log did you have to wait for your Kitfox?
@@aerialimagesbydoug5733 a little less than a year.
Good progress! Thanks For the information!!!
Looking good. Nice to see your progress. Keep at it.

That's probably why the inventory got mixed up. Turns out that the tdeck hinge kit was optional item. Who knew?

Project kitfox said something also about the closeouts. Did you order yours yet. I'd love to see them
I thought I saw Bowen Aero had some new Carbon Butt rib close outs. I want to go that route!

Why not just use a #12 drill bit as a reamer looks like all your doing is drilling the hole a little larger.
