Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
Government policy has thrown the future under the bus for decades. The day of judgment is near. I predict an 80% drop in the stock market. Investors will abandon stocks in favor of real estate. There will be no money in banks... You must devise a strategy for survival.
Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portfolio has doubled since early last year. My financial advisor and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q3 2024

"Act the way you want to be in the future, today" - that is a core practice in everything: finances, relationships, health This is a great list Vincent. Thank you!
I LOVE the advice to "Act the way you want to be in the future, today" So many people in the finance space say (especially to our generation) that they were dealt an unfair hand and will never achieve the Boomer level of personal wealth. People like to hear that because it makes them feel better in the short term, but if they believe that then they truly will never achieve that level of wealth. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Indeed. I say this all the time, but something as simple as just saving and investing $10 a day from when you are 20, can make you an inflation adjusted millionaire by the time you are 65. And this doesn't even take a lot of effort and can entirely be no-stress automated.
@@rebeltheharem7028 Absolutely! If we could get that through to young folks, they could leverage that time to be such a powerful compounding machine. And to your point I think automation is the key. We all already pay for a bunch of subscriptions, might as well have a few bucks a month automatically invested for the future! Great comment :)
@@IzzyOnTheMove Congrats on the (nearly) 2k Subs! And I love the perspective! Great way to experience gratitude with something you clearly love doing 😄
your videos are so addicting but in a good way. i have been watching them all week & i am so excited to sit down this weekend & get started bc idk if you call this wealthy but i just don’t wanna get up everyday & work for someone else :)
Love the "Not ask for permission,"- My Dad is also an immigrant with a strong immigrant mentality of staying in your "good" job, even if it's making you miserable. I took the jump to undertaking a full ride masters this fall, to help get me into an area that I'm actually interested in, and its been night and day, even though I'm still stuck at that job. I'm getting connections facilitated Tuesday for a new job, and it's all cause I didn't wait to "ask for permission" with my current job or because it was less "predictable" or "steady"!
Very creative way to make people watch more of your videos. By chaining your other videos topic at the end, it makes it kinda addictive to watch. As if you are watching a tv show and it ends off on a cliffhanger. Keeps you wanting to know what is next so you watch that next episode. Keep it up
What happens if that side hustle just cost you more money and does not make any money? This is what most side hustles are. Not everyone gets luck with their side hustle.
That 1st habit is already such a gamechanger. I paused to think about it and it really hit me that the things I've made the most progress on are things I didn't leave until "someday". Whereas the things I've resigned to some mythical later date have been gathering the most dust.
7:05 “Getting help saves time”. Bingo! I’m self-publishing my first book and had so many roadblocks. It should have been out in six months not going on 3 years. The second book will be better and come out faster!
"don't have any pictures of yourself when you were younger." Wow that strikes home to me. I used to be a super skinny borderline ED kid with bad acne and hated to look at myself in the mirror. The only thing that changed that was getting out making some money, and finally getting in decent physical shape. And moreso than anything gaining confidence that I'm not a total loser. Great video Vincent! 👍

I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important

That William James story sounds like an urban legend. Not buying it.

Being rich doesn’t mean refusal to more money
That's why he's rich. He knows that every penny counts
