If you watched Goosebumps, there is a 1 episode called Headless Ghost. That 1 episode took place in Silent Hill. So even in the 90s era, you still get to see the Silent Hill stories. Only exception is supernatural beings stayed hidden from the government officials in the Goosebumps stories but in this Silent Hill movie, no supernatural beings stay hidden, not even from cops.
@@HzHz Just remember that reading Goosebumps novel is not the same as watching them on tv. In the novel, when the kids got out of a Hill House, the kids were stopped by the cops. The cops said to the kids, what were you doing in the Hill House. The kids said we had a tour. The cops said how can you be having a tour in that Hill House if that place had been out of business and closed down for 3 months. So kind of weird that back then in the 90s, ghost only make their appearance to scare only the kids and only stay hidden from government officials. So novels are different from movie because in the movie, the kids were chased by a ghost and then that same ghost gave a tour to a next tourist.

The Simpsons seems to be a favourite for this. Making a movie ad verbatim about a book would probably be impossible as we all visualize & have a different interpretation of things. Nice chatting with you 😊.
@@HzHz Unless you count the youtube videos, then you can count that as watching a movie. Just like you can comment here. If you can comment, you can also watch movies on your youtube video. So even Goosebumps is where you can watch that 1 episode on youtube. If you watch at least in youtube channel, then you have a power to claim you watched the movie. "What's Laurie Holden?"
"A gun"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There’s also no way you would walk a suspect on your gun side either.
Laurie Holden looking bad ass!
This movie was far from perfect, but they nailed so many of the visuals and atmosphere of the game, well worth the few quid I paid for it on BD....and Radha Mitchel in boots is always going to earn extra points with me.
Pyramid Head looked glorious as well!
It's nice to see Cybil's training with Shane paid off when she finally hit Silent hill.
لما شاهدت هذا الفيلم لأول مرة من ثلاثة عشر سنة أوأكثر
صدقوني انتابتني حالة ضيق و اكتئاب و شعور غريب و أحسست أن الجدران تطبق على أنفاسي .
Hands down one of the absolute most atmospheric and creep inducing movies of all time imo 👍
I didn't notice when I watched the film back then, but having lying figures materialize when her hands are cuffed is pretty brilliant.
Great Film Thank You ;
This movie gives me nightmare.
Thes scene I have to turn my head is when she sees the burnt children. Just talking about it gives me the heebie jeebies!!
@@Donegal62 The worst scene is when she gets the barbwire up her hoo-ha
The bugs with human faces scared me back then, It's called entomophobia when you're afraid of vermin
That part When Pyramid Head appeared out of nowhere and ripped that lady whole skin off like it was nothing I was like fuck…😳 and threw it at the door that was just pure terror Ughh Horrible way to die to be just ripped to shreds alive
She got done dirty in this movie
"Stay where you are! Stop!" She shouted to the alien-looking monster with acid blood spewing everywhere.
one of THE best bad ass movies out.
1:18 DM's logic, the road just ends, there's no turning back
One of the best video games ever!!;
This and darkness falls were two of my top favorite horror films of all time tbh
These movies make no sense at all given Silent Hill lore but the visuals are amazing
I had a crush on the lady cop in this movie. Was sad when she died. 💔
Cybil Bennett was her name.
The way she died in this movie was sad.
Should have put spoiler alert for people
Oh man, ever since I watched The walking dead, I just keep finding out Andrea was in so much movie I already seen. Fantastic 4, the mist, now this...
ANDREA! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Loved this movie.
Poor Cybil, atrocious death.
Loved Officer Cybil's character...hated how sucky things went down for her later in the film :(
What happened to Cybil reminds me of "The Wicca Man".
It was very great thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
2:39 the scream
Thanks for reminding us !
Tens of hours in the Silent Hill world. good training :)
Imagine the level of fear coursing through your veins as you run blindly into the fog, hands cuffed behind your back, knowing and witnessing an evil unnatural creature spit acid at your comrade.
Monster spooged on her.
damn, this look like trenton new jersey…
Girl has a Nokia 3310 around her neck. She was always gonna survive..
My lovely Laurie Holden, these lether pants and police shirt fit her so well.
I love when Wounded Warsong comes on
I remember playing Silent Hill when it first came out, happy days.
Thank you.

Interesting, thank you. My daughter used to read Goosebumps, she may recall the Headless Ghost 👻☺.

I don't ever watch tv so have never watched it, I have never read the book, same with my daughter we are book readers, she probably will have read the book however. I used to play games on the Play Station which is why I know about Silent Hill. There is a thing called predictive programming which seems to be running through books, music and tv programmes.
Watching movies in this current time era do not have to mean use your tv when you have your own computer and you have access to youtube. So even Goosebumps is where you can watch that 1 episode on youtube. If you watch at least in youtube channel, then you have a power to claim you watched the movie. Just like you viewed this Silent Hill movie on this youtube channel and comment on it, you can do the same with Goosebumps. Your youtube channel in this current time era is your tv now.
Best game adaptation ive ever seen. Unfortunately for the audience you have to be at some level familiar with thr games to enjoy it properly.
I didn't notice anyone referring to the unexpected ending of this movie. This movie has one of the most shocking endings ever for that genre. To be honest, I'm not into that genre, but that ending was shocking, not seen since Carrie.
I remember getting scared shitless as a kid watching this scene.
That’s stupid, yeah runaway from the only person that has a gun that would protect you and the only person that has the key for the handcuffs still on you.
Stay where you are😂😂
“Put your hands up!!”
@@tarheelcountry1868 😂👍
These movies were great!
Doesn't look like weather for sunglasses 😎!
