Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 had some of the craziest builds we've ever seen, so we had to make a video of just the top 10 weirdest cars we found walking around the show. From fully bedazzled Benz's to a Mitsubishi built into a miniature Skyline, there's quite a lot to look at.

Zagato is a styling house like pininfarina they have styled Alfa Romeo’s , Aston martins etc.
some are gorgeous. Some are not. .
Exactly my thoughts.... Zagato either knock it out the park, or it's hideous lol

Driving a trike isn't that weird Kyle. Had one myself for 25 years. 6' wide rear end on 6' wide small Scottish Island roads. You get used to the width. 👍 Mine is a supercharged beetle setup.

I wish this level of insane creativity was more common in the car scene, especially here in the U.S... These things are so fun to look at, and the craftsmanship is incredible! Especially love the way Japan does retro body kits to make new cars look more classic, it's very tasteful yet whimsical and much better than most American retro-styled new cars ended up being. I actually had to look up whether the Raize was anything you can get stateside, because I'd love something like that Cal Motors version.
I'd love to go to this show some day!

The Stelvio started life as a Nissan Leopard but was modified by Autech (which is a division of Nissan) with help from Zagato.

Jonathan do these things ever see dirt? I know they’re incredibly well prepared and stock an FJ40 is incredibly capable. these are so well crafted, I can’t imagine people risk damaging them off road.

That Nissan Zagato is reminiscent of the Alfa SZ ‘il Monstro’. Those Zegato wheels are just wrong though. The NACA duct on the wheel (which I believe was designed to channel air to the breaks) should be reversed for the other side for this to work effectively on left and right but (correct me if I’m wrong), I don’t think they were… meaning one side of the car would have the brake cooling wheel vents running backwards… all for the sake of not building a mirror image wheel.
I didn't like any of those cars, the craftsmanship is on point😊😊😊

You said you didn’t like the current value but, you know enough people to purchase one for much less even though we know you can afford it. Tip of the cap to those folks adding, er, anything to CANbus cars. Tap a feed from the existing wiring and codes will result. Load-balancing and shedding is an added thorn in the side of a modder - says the guy who has to take a feed from the rear cigarette lighter to a relay box to power anything because it’s the only circuit that doesn’t throw codes 🤬 Progress, allegedly. That’s why I salute this generation of modders.
