I watched this series on Ani-Monday when it was on Sy-Fy. This was an excellent series and i can say the ending actually made me cry it was just so....well acted and so heart-wrenching. This aspiring writer gives this show a BIG thumbs up.
I still resent the fact that my local library got rid of one of their volumes of this anime just because of one episode on the disk :/ still haven't gotten to finish this anime....

Well while the anime and manga haven't made it clear there's at least a significant closeness between Haruka and Kantarou. ^^; The mangakas made their own doujinshi of it as well.
