Stockholm in Sweden is often called the ‘’World’s Smallest Big City’’ or ‘’Venice of the North’’. For me personally this is a place where the stunning beauty of nature meets the charm of a modern city built on 14 islands.

I was in Stockholm for five days in 2017. It was a great experience. So many wonderful parks, museums, palaces, and cathedrals. The architecture is very unique. There was just so much to see and do. A great blend of city life and nature too. I think its one of the best European capitals. Very chill atmosphere.

Good suggestions overall, but the easiest way to buy tickets its just to blip your contactless card on buses and gates to the metro, much faster than downloading an app.

Thanks a lot. It’s difficult because I don’t mention restaurants and bars. What I can remember is that food and mainly alcohol are really expensive. Maybe you can check a foodcord which in the shopping area for a small lunch.

No, but notice that we are almost totally cash-less. Use your debit/credit-card (with 4 digit pin) for everything.

The majority of the houses in the old town are definitively not 18th and 19th century. Most of them are restored with 19th century facades but very, very few are actually built in the 19th century. Where you're standing talking for instance there's one from the 18th century one from the 15th century and ten from the 17th century.
The 17th century houses are probably close to as common as all the 13th-16th and the 18th-20th century combined.
