You shouldn't look at food in terms of carbs protein and fat. Look at it in terms of FIBER, protein and fat. If the carbs you're eating contain little to no fiber then you shouldn't be eating those carbs. If your carbs contain 2g of fiber or more then those carbs are probably very good for you. Fiber is just as important to your body as protein. Insoluble fiber helps you digest food. Soluble fiber helps regulate blood sugar and insulin and will help you from developing type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. You NEED carbs and protein. Any diet that would have you drastically lower your intake of good carbs is NOT a credible diet and can cause harmful effects to your body. Same goes for low protein diets. Your body needs both in order to function optimally. Also, fat does not make you fat. Good fats that come from nuts, seeds or fatty plant foods are critical to your body's ability to make stress managing hormones and helps your brain function. Any diet that tells you not to eat whole food plant based fats is not a diet you should follow.
