This was an absolutely fantastic showcase, I don't know if it's a fair representation of this map but I really like it, Scan has (at least through the chronology of this channel) been absolutely killing it lately, very entertaining player to watch. Reminds me of Rush, very scrappy maybe a bit more disciplined but not as good at engagements, I don't know if that's fair. Huge fan of both of them and just trying to describe their play styles
If anything, this game showcased why I think the Siege Tank is an S tier unit. Especially when Scan got up two full groups, no way even the mightiest protoss warriors could make it through. Since Scan was clumping them up though, I think storms were the way to go, not arbiter. Just my opinion though.
If you don't have 10+ carriers you can't defeat a 3/3 200psi mech. Terran turtling until 3/3 200psi is basically victory. It's Flash's go to TvP Strat.
@@utarian7 oh give me a break....you might not be able to win vs a maxed out Terran army but that is your own lack of skill and has nothing to do with the game itself.
epic epic great game, it's exhausting just to finish watching this. motive seemed to have gotten sloppy while scan stayed quite in tune from mid towards end game. still both sides played good
I feel like carriers would have had a lot more competitive edge here. I don't see anything too terrifying from Terran by that point. Like no change of plan? Just war of attrition?
34:07 Artosis misses Motive casting a psi storm from the top right high ground on the mineral only third, killing off almost the whole worker line. You can see the High Templar from this attack chilling on the ledge a few seconds later, but at this time the SCVs are all already dead
I think this map might be slightly Terran favored, due to the choked up middle ground? That doesn't make me dislike it though, it only makes me like it even more.
I almost c0Omed when I saw the initial reaver/goon micro. Motive looks strong. 1 week has past since I first began protesting outside Artosis Chateau de Luxe. I've been stabbed, harassed, cursed at, all of my picket signs have been broken. I'm developing a rash from sleeping on the street, my head is pounding, but my heart goes on. Uncle Arty, could SaiyanKCM have a guest cast?
Not necessarily in this game, but often I see terrains who tend to have an excess of minerals vs Protoss, would it be worthwhile to spend some extra minerals on marines to have at home to help with defense against drops? I would think that the buffer time that the marines give could pay for themselves by preventing additional losses?
They don't have enough minerals, terran is the race that get less minerals than protos/zerg because it's hard to expand. Marine is useless without bunker, bunker takes space and money...baracs is used for scouting...it's a bad ideea..
Turret + Vulture is better. Turrer hits air, Vulture hits hard against shields and small ground targets, mines hit hard against large ground targets... both at 75 minerals. Turret hits at about 32 DPS, Vulture hits at intended target at 16 DPS, Mines hit IIRC at 125 while Marines with stim pack hits at about 15 DPS.

Tanks are by far the best Unit in the game. Everything revolves around them. With the exception of zvt sometimes

he is normally only angry with himself, unless he gets actually cheated...which happens fairly often.
