Good video guys. We’ve done this a few times for bounty hunting. It’s amazingly effective. The pilot needs to be on the ball with S3 missiles to prevent jumping but we haven’t lost a single bounty once engaged yet. Some tips to help you kill anything faster…. The Hammerhead has 8 S5 missle slots load 3 with S3’s to prevent jumping and load the other 5 with 8 Rattlers each. Even with the lowered range on the rattlers, it keeps the pilot in the fight when it’s heavy doing massive damage. 40 rattlers will cause very significant damage and will keep the target constantly under missile lock causing panic. When the target finally goes for a jump it’s obvious when his shields drop and the pilot puts 4 S3 missiles on it. So far that’s even stopped Hercs from getting away. Good luck. It’s a blast.

the hammerhead feels like a ship that will require npcs in order to be useful. i can't think of many people who would want to be a turret gunner for more than a week, when they could be a fighter pilot in a squadron of 8 ships and have a firepower advantage. but a hammerhead with AI crew suddenly becomes an effective firepower enhancement for someone who may not have 8 friends.
Kinda wish yall looted the cargo that fell. would've been awesome to see how fast a full crew could take out a convoy, sell its cargo, and how much it would've all sold for in the end. great content
Interesting idea. Wonder if the SRV I own could finally have a purpose. Have it hang back in ERTs then swoop in to catch the soft dead ships before ground impact possibly.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed! When you target them, if one of the displays on the ship is set to target status you can see shield and health status, as well as other info. For me, it’s usually the bottom right screen
Cool vid. Really like how you all coordinate your attack. Is this against AI? because I didn't notice a lot of returned fire towards your ship. Would be cool to see how this ship would faire against other players.
@@CaptainFlynn117 Don't bother trying.. Unfortunately multicrew is still quite broken in pvp. It's waaay to easy as a light/medium fighter to kite the HH and take out the turrets one by one.

There should be more realistic damage to ship subsystems, instead of just a health bar. Cause in reality, youd probably take out the engines, and weapons, and then board the ship, like anspace pirate.

What kind of lore calls ”corvettes” capital ships anyway? IRL capital ships are the largest combatants. Battleships, Battlecruisers and Fleet Carriers. Corvettes are the smalles warship class to receive names, and below a thousand tonnes in displacement. Corvettes are smaller than frigates.

Star Wars didn’t help by having a “hammerhead corvette” prominently featured in Rogue One - also, the Roci from The Expanse is a “corvette-class frigate” - seems like “hammerhead = corvette-class gunship” might be a combo of those, plus its actual ship type

Had nice salutes, everyone referring to you as captain, everything was good. Until the Captain was in a turret, and everyone was referring to their locations as front or rear, left or right. Instead of stern or bow, port and starboard. Captain belongs on the bridge while on duty. Might wanna run through that with the crew.
Good points, we were a little short on manpower since some people couldn’t make it, so I hopped in the main turret. We’ll make sure to refresh on the proper terms also, since most of the crew is fresh to the ‘verse and havnt gotten their space legs yet. We will most likely revisit this once again in the future also, when engineering plays a bigger role

The amount of screen flash in the top turret will make this game unplayable to many. I really hope there will be graphics options to tone that down. Strobe effects are hard on eyes and brain.
No, this is NOT a Corvette. It is a Gunship. I’m SC Corvettes are Capital class and are thus built around cap class reactors which cannot be switched out.
I mean, yeah it’s taking a while but I wouldn’t say it’s a scam. GTA 6 started development around the same time and isn’t out either. That’s taken billions of dollars, tens of thousands of devs, and the whole game only takes place in a single city and not a solar system. Certainly not normal, maybe try a fresh install and/or update your drivers, I know intel has been having a ton of issues lately

It's not really a anti fighter corvette is it? Fighters are to fast and can dodge/disenage so easily..
