I was at the game and wasn’t rooting for either team and the Arkansas fans booed him when his name was announced and started chanting that they wanted his ass out of town after the game. They got their wish lol.

I am not actually doubting he is a good coach, or at least, a decent one.
But a lot of Wisconsin fans are going to see this as Karma, especially since he fired before he even made it to the locker room.
You have to remember a few things about Bielema before he was Arkansaw's coach:
      1. He was beloved at Wisconsin and viewed as the "answer" for replacing a legend.
      2. He had an amazing record and recruitment status in the midwest
      3. He left Wisconsin for what he deemed to be a better coaching job, despite the fact that Wisconsin has been a better program than Arkansaw for a very long time. In fact, win wise in the regular season, Wisconsin is top 10 in the country over the past decade.
      4. Fine he wanted to leave, some could respect that. But he did so and announced he was doing so RIGHT BEFORE THE ROSE BOWL. Like days before. You couldn't wait until after the Rose Bowl to make that sort of announcement? Then he acted like he was the good guy saying "I am still willing to coach the badgers in the rose bowl, of course"
As if any member of that team wanted him anywhere near them after announcing he was leaving them before most of those players biggest game of their life.
I don't know if he's a bad guy, but he abandoned a top 10 program and his players right before the biggest game of their lives and hightaled it out of Wisconsin faster than ever. He is also the coach that made Wisconsin appear to be a stepping stone school.
I.E. - you coach here, you win here, so you can leave for a 'better job', kind of like what is going to happen with the coach of UCF. BUt Wisconsin isn't UCF, it's a team that, if you look at this year alone, can be a title winner. It's not a stepping stone program. But he started that reputation, which Gary Anderson than took advantage of (even though I admit, it was clear Anderson wasn't a great fit here), before we finally landed on our current coach - who we assume is loyal since he has spent most of his coaching career in and around teams in Wisconsin. But at this point, I wouldn't even be surprised if he wins a National Title this year and then decides to hop ship to... hell, arkansaw? lol
And it's nothing against our coach now, it's just the reputation of coaches coming to wisconsin, winning, then high tailing it out of town that started with Bielema.I realize Wisconsin doesn't have a title pedigree, but they could. They need a coach that wants to be here that is also very good, because guess what, Wisconsin is very good. We hope we have that now.

He was a par to sub par coach, even at Wisconsin, he had awful use of the clock and time management, not to mention no matter what his record was, there was always one thing you could count on with him. He could never ever seem to win the Big games, when it mattered most. I was happy when he left Wisconsin, shocked but happy and his record while at Arkansas just highlighted everything he did poorly at Wisconsin, sucked at managing clock and again choked at big games when it mattered most. Hopefully he will get a job as an assistant and never again as a head coach.

I don't think you actually understand what you're talking about.
Once you're on the team in the Big 10, yes, it's easier to stay on the team because they only require you to maintain a barely passing college courses level of GPA. Take Wisconsin - you only have to maintain a barely passing level of GPA to stay on the team while attending fulltime. However, to get into the college to play football you have to have a GPA of at least 3.3 in HS and a decent score on the ACT. In fact, we have DENIED players we have recruited, both in Basketball and Football, from coming who committed because they did not meat the academic requirements to get into Wisconsin.
Those players did end up running off to SEC teams, who basically have no standards other than "as long as you graduated HS" to play sports for them.
Since many Big 10 teams operate like Wisconsin with the academics, not only do 95% of players average well above the minimum GPA (because they were already really good students with good habits in HS), a lot of the top student athletes in terms of academic achievement also hail from the big 10. It's one of the things the conference is well known for, a high level of academic achievement throughout their sports players.
Meanwhile, not only are there exceptions made for athletes in the SEC (aka, they lower they standard of entry for an athlete that the big 10 doesn't), they also don't even have to maintain a passing grade to continue to play sports.
But, let's ignore all of that. Because you make baseless assumptions about the big 10 while actually ignoring the facts and the average GPA level of the student athletes at these schools, most of which graduate with degrees as well.
It also doesn't really make any sense to say "the big 10 can't even go toe to toe with itself". What do you mean the big 10 can't do that? Is it because Wisconsin is undefeated? Or is it because all the other good to great big 10 teams this year have 2 or more losses... to other big 10 teams? Wouldn't that actually indicate they CAN go toe to toe against each other since they... beat each other up?
And yes, you are showing heavy SEC bias, just as I apt to show heavy BIG 10 bias. But, when I try to look beyond the obvious bias we both have...
It's hard to really say which conference is better, let alone that "down south football is god" with the defense of "great weather most of the time" and only "california is better".
Since when does weather actually determine who has better football teams? And wouldn't the team capable of not slowing down because of weather have an advantage? Say the "3 yards and a cloud of dust" comment - what does that mean? That Big 10 teams can't throw the ball? I don't understand that.
You know what big 10 teams do? Typically they play NFL style football, which... low and behold, translates well at the next level. Whether they play for a dome team or an outdoor team, up north or down south. Yes, the SEC does typically get the better players with bad GPAs who never want to play in the cold, but the big 10 produces plenty of their own NFL studs.
I think at the end of the day it's silly to say any conference leaves the other in the dust with weather as an argument.
