it would be a nice addition to give a walkthrough on these mods. the duel battery install : and the others to help others be safe as well on the water as well
Best vid. You should repost just the middle section and title it maintenance. It answers all questions about oiling engine, flushing, salt away etc.. great vid altogether but super valuable info about maintenance. Thanks!
Holy cow! Excellent vid!!! I’m awaiting delivery of my 2021 Fish Pro and GTX170. I will DEF be making most of these mods. FL, USA here. Thanks for such an informative vid!
Welcome to the Aquaholiks family, Mike. If we do any more mods we will publish another vid. Hope you have enjoyed the vids so far - plenty more to come, look out for them every week :)
Lots of great stuff here. Something I really have been looking for. and you hit : Drop down wheel for launching & retracting. I have been searching for something like this. maybe I really do not have the right keywords. Love to hear from you guys. I am based in the US
I can't understand the point of this setup, why would you add a VSR system with the expecation when the first battery is fully charged it will charge your second? jetski's don't have a alternator, they use a stator system, the stator does not charge typically charge the battery... it simply maintains the current charge... so effectively if your first battery is dead or low voltage, the VSR would never activate... in theory, your second battery with your setup will continuously keep dying because of the loads hanging off it. a better method would be to run the batteries in parralel so that you can start you ski off both batteries of one or the other has low charge. (all this is theoretical, not knocking your setup - its just got me stumped)
Thanks to both of you for the Great informative video. I am interested in this PWA but haven't seen any information like this on upgrades and servicing. Keep up the great work and make this into a regular servicing series👍 Also, I hope Seadoo collaborates with both of you to improve the new models.
Aquaholiks My 2020 Sea Doo Fish Pro rocked up last week, had it out 3 times and overall really happy with it but... I can’t get the sounder to work properly! The bottom picks up sometimes but most of the time it’s just flashing and giving me a messy image on the surface, I’ve tried following the fault finding steps that Garmin provide changing settings etc. but no luck. In your video you talk a little bit about the Transducer seal leaking on the fish pro, I’m thinking that it’s possible mines has either already leaked or possibly doesn’t have any fluid in it from factory. I’ve had a quick look at it through the rear engine compartment and it is an orange balloon end hanging out of it and it does have the plastic tube with the loop in it you talk about in your video but I’m not confident enough to start opening it up incase I break something. Any chance you could elaborate a little on the transducer issue and exactly how it can be checked/fixed etc. other thing is the ski is pulling to the right when I’m cruising along, I’ve taken the front cover off and tried to adjust the steering dial but it’s still pulling to the right. How much does that dial need to be turned to make a difference? Any help would be appreciated, Cheers mate.
@@stevieelliot hey mate, check the level of the coolant/liquid in the transducer. Make sure you have checked the settings in the main menu of the echo sounder. If those 2 things dont work, I recommend you take it back to the dealer so you dont void your warranty. And same goes for the steering as there could be something else going on. Hard for me to say. I have experienced steering issues before, but only in large seas going across the waves. Test it out in different sea conditions first.
@@aqua-holiks can you get me the parts I need and ship it to me in the US Florida, just let me know cost etc and I can pay thru PayPal or other means. I don’t think I can get the parts here.
Great idea and video, can you tell me which wires on the fuse block are AUX? My Blige is factory and powered buy the ecu. The factory audio Id like off the aux battery as well. Have you a wiring diagram for these? I have the wakepro 2018 and the factory 2nd battery. I want to modify like yours with the VSR relay
Hey Dan, don't have the wiring on hand but its best to isolate your ski in 2 portions with the VSR relay. Recommend a pro or accredited person to install as I did :)
Question Spoke to my seadoo mechanic today regarding VSR installation. He said he was unsure to install it into the new skis as they have an automatic battery voltage shutoff programmed into the cpu. Said he needed to research ?
Only if they would fix the worst part of the fish pro . Put a Yamaha or Kawasaki motor in them . I like the fish pro but I wouldn’t risk my life going out to see with a rotax
Hi Christian each ski has its own merits. In my case I went for the seadoo because its a great all rounder. No issues so far except for transjuicer probs
Thank both of you guys very much. You guys answer a lot of these questions for beginners. I wish I had a friend like Grant.
Hi u have to make a video of how he cleans it and the spray he put on
If I’m not mistaken there’s a setting that you can do that just runs your accessories when the key is off
Great video needs a secondary fuel cell to take capacity to near 100 litres not just a attachment fuel cell
it would be a nice addition to give a walkthrough on these mods. the duel battery install : and the others to help others be safe as well on the water as well
What type of transducer fluid does the garmin use?
Any coolant will do - choose a bright one just in case it leaks. And install a new Gen3 seal on top of the transducer to seal better
good video where are you in what place

Not at this stage mate but we can tell you that its handmade out of fibreglass and positioned on the RHS rear of the ski
