Great Video, you're 1000% right. I have the Crane M2S, Sony a6500 16-50 & 18-135, RX100 Mark i & iii, ZV1, DJI Pocket 2 in my camera bag. I have had too many cameras over the yrs. But These I enjoy & all have a job and do them well for me. Got rid of my Canon 5D Mark iii, 80D, M50 not long ago. Wish I kept the M50 Lol. Keep up the hard work, You have really got good with Editing, and it shows, Your UA-cam Game Is over the top, never stop.
As a youtuber, your character is one of the reasons why I love your channel. You speak your truth in a unique way and you get me to laugh a lot. You are right, as a photographer,. Olympus gives me something I don't get from other cameras. I have used different cameras and own two other popular manufacturers. It does not remove the fact that if my exposure is wrong by a mile, I run into dynamic range problems in my Olympus and I scream if it was a once in a lifetime opportunity shot. You are absolutely right. Keep doing your videos because your style makes you unique.
As a Fuji user, I agree with you 100% about white balance. When lighting is good, the auto white balance is dependable. When I lose light, strange things can happen. I know the fix would be to manually set the Kelvin temperature, but I don't feel like memorizing the Kelvin temperatures in ten minute intervals during golden hour and blue hour. I just shoot RAW and fix it in post.
I have several fuji's and the auto wb differs from each model. x100 and xpro1 are quite good at it imho (perhaps not accurate always but i like the way it looks). I only adjust +1r and -1b. The xt3 is worse at it. at standard auto wb its way to blue i always have to adjust +3r and -3b.

Fuji user here (mostly stills) and my experience aligns with yours. I do like the colours, but the white balance is annoying. I basically shoot manual WB always now, which I have never had to do since the film days.
Personally, I find your assessments to be hilarious and yet honest.

I love my G9 with the Olympus Pro glass. Sure its not the camera for everyone but it works for me. I say this with a photo of my EM-5 Mark II as a profile pic, lol.

Mine still like Lumix GH5. But just May go back to a Panasonic camcorder. Lighting, audio, composition more important. Disagree? Looking back fondly on the simplicity of shooting with my old Panasonic HVX 170. For many job it was enough. Lighting and audio matters more than resolution. Anybody else share that nostalgia? Built in XLR and ND filters one touch WB.

This is a video that should be sent to the entire toxic photography community, including some UA-camrs. I enjoy shooting everything and the only two systems I haven't tried are Pentax and Lumix, which I am working on. That said, my preference is Nikon, and it's just that, a personal preference! It doesn't mean everyone else's favorite brand is crap or that Nikon is better than everything else in every aspect. I seriously struggle to find a bad camera from any brand, but the sensationalism and stupid tribalism in the community take precedence over everything else... The age of social media came with the self-validation phenomenon; where if you disagree with me and have a different preference, then you are crap just because I need to validate all my choices with like-minded people and everyone else is an inferior enemy... Unfortunately, evidence of the age of sensationalism and fanboyism is mostly prominent in the photography community...😩
I do agree, my camera is terrible for some people but perfect for me. I do video and I'm not into hybrids, so Blackmagic is my camera brand of choice, don't care in the least for the full frame look, got a full frame Sony but it's relagated to photo only and that works for me. Enjoy your videos a lot, very entertaining, just keep it up man!
I have no issue with CC of gear I actually take more offence from "influencers" who promote gear that sucks. As a Canon shooter I have resolved that I need 1 body for speed and 1 for Image Quality and resolution. My dilemma is that if you mix in Video now I need another camera.
I agree all brands are both great and terrible that is why I keep at least one camera from each brand in house. For vlogging and photography the a7iv is really all I need but that IBIS for bird photography really lacks compared to the R5. If I could just combine the two I would have all I need including some pretty darn good 4k 120p (R5). Cheers.
with the new firmware update I believe that the R5 beats the A7iv in any way in photo and video

As a photographer loser not a video shooter loser, I use a nikon D600, and it works perfectly, no need for new tech... but when the time to upgrade will come, because it wil come one day, I hope that nikon will have a Zed (yes, Zed, not Zi) 6 III or IV with a good autofocus, no mechanical shutter and, this is what I want the most, a sensor shield like the one on the Zed 9.

i bought into the Sony system because im ointerested in eventually getting an FX9 that I cant justify having at the moment. I just like their autofocus and all the lenses I'm acquiring will also fit the cinema cameras. so i have a really awesome over the top Alpha 1 and it will be good for a long long time.
I have a Olympus E-M1 mark II with a broken shutter button (half press has electrical contact problem). I guess I'll make do a few years until going full frame.

This might be a very minor thing - not sure how many Canon cameras actually got this. Flexible Mode. It's been scoffed at by polin and a few others but I think it's the best mode on the camera. It allows you to lock, or unlock any setting in the triangle. So i can be aperture priority one sec, then aperture and shutter priority, and then switch over to just iso priority and everything else is auto... Basically an "auto" mode that allows you to take full control of anything. If you're a new photographer, or you haven't shot in awhile and you're just feeling rusty, FV can really get you back into the groove of things in just a few photos. The only thing it doesn't do very well is decide shutter speed based on subject movement, so you'll end up with a few blurry bird shots... That could also be due to the fact that I wanted to the eos R, but could only afford the RP..... the P stands for how poor the buyer is...... still though, flexible mode for the win!!!! Wish all cameras would adopt this.

You are a funny guy, to be honest I rarely watch your video for details spec of cameras, but for the way your talking about the cam you are reviewing, it's making me laugh so much, even as a canon shooter, I mean you say things that are true I can't deny it, the only thing I think you forget to do is to put perspective on your review, anyway I like your video, continue like that
I am aware that the Dji Action is a older action cam. But it still holds up VERY well. I really don't understand the workflow on the Action 2 makes no sense to me but it might suit some peoples needs. The fact you have to add another module to the base cam. to get a sd card slot leaves me wondering.

Have you tried the Fuji Auto White Priority and Auto Ambient WB options? Might it might resolve some of that tint I wonder? The Ambient I think is warmer and the other cooler (whilst still being Auto WB).
Hahaha, I love my G9 but this thing has been kicking me in the nuts here lately. I never had much issue with auto focus, until recently. Now mine seems as bad as all of yours and I do not understand what changed. Oh how I long for the day when a smart phone can match my G9 in video quality, I'll be jumping right on that band wagon! I'm running the latest firmware in body and all lenses. I just swapped to a different lens yesterday to see if made any difference while record a new video. Nope, this thing is hunting all over the place now and I've never really had this issue before. It's super bright in my studio, so it's not like it's starving for light. I damn sure didn't change any setting, but something sure seems like it has changed. Most of my issues I find are my fault, but not this time, I didn't change anything.

Was thinking of the R6 for the longest time, to finally upgrade from 6D (I like the number 6 okay???!!!) but that record limit and overheat issue means I'm now going to the R7. Not looking forward to going back to crop, but we have to play the hand life deals us.

The production model X-H2s is better than what you used in the store. Two updates already. It's not perfect, but it's way better AF than past models. I love it, and I'm proud of my purchase decision.

I check a Peter Mckinnon's video he made with the RP (same sensor as the 6Dii) of a coffee machine compared to the R, looks pretty amazing actually.
In controlled lighting scenarios you will not see a difference. That’s why the comparison is so dishonest. Because as soon as you start pushing the camera in difference scenarios, one clearly stands out. You can make iPhone footage look good if you can control the light

As a Pentaxian, I never understood the Canon vs Sony fights. It seems overtly toxic at times. I would agree that you can find a camera that works for you may not meet the needs of others. Pentaxians are humble people, we realize that we are never included in popular camera culture, but we like it that way! We understand the limitations of our systems and enjoy the vastness of our lens choices.

Hey Kasey, greetings from Greece. I currently use Sony α7ii (I know), for shooting videos and photos of my kids running around. I want to upgrade to a camera with better autofocus. Was thinking α7iii or a7c (those I can afford), but I worry about the stabe in the latter. It has real time tracking and a flip-out screen though. So I was wondering, is using catalyst browse for every video something I would not mind doing? (α7c can do it, mk3 doesn't)
i would invest another 200USD into a gimbal, IBIS will never be as good as an external gimbal...FeiyuTech just announced a new one. Get the chaper cam with better AF.
@@GregorMima Absolutely, as a7m3 owner i am sure weebil-s like gimbal is much better solution. You never get proper stab even with a7c+catalyst, but any gimbal make you footage pro-like, it is another level.

Look you're devastatingly good looking don't worry about the nay sayers they're just jealous! Funny you are using a 6D ii I use Sony but love the Canon 400mm 5.6 L for wildlife. No auto focus adapter works quickly enough for birds in flight so I bought a little Canon 760D which is fine except for low light. So I went to the second hand market looking for a full frame camera for the 400mm. Well, what's wrong with Canon devotees, I mean they're not negotiable on price like they own the keys to some magical kingdom! Anyhoow, greeting from Sydney Australia enjoy your vids.
I find it strange that the 6d mk2 doesn't have Av control on video. I can control Av on my 1300d. Unless I am misunderstanding you. I am new to your channel and love your presentation style.
You can only shoot manual or program auto in video on the 6d II, as well as the new Canon R6 and RP. They just randomly decide which camera gets that cripple.

I’m 100 % convinced that the hue you are seeing is probably coming from an uncalibrated monitor… you need to calibrate to get the best out of all Fuji colors.

R5 - auto expose for slow-mo. More expensive “better” R5C - no auto expose on slow-mo. R5 - Bluetooth remote compatible. R5c which has wifi and Bluetooth - nope. Why? “Because it’s cinema line”. Why does Cinema mean it must be neutered? If the R5 didn’t have the fucking overheating problems I never ever would have “upgraded” to R5C. R5 really is perfect. They just completely fucked it with that bullshit overheating. Wish we could get a R5a with active cooling. Would drop this BS R5c in an instant
I don't know man... Full frame with 4K60 and no crop in 466 gram body... Sounds sweet to me. Sure there are compromises but it wouldn't be fun if you got everything you ever wanted outright :P
If that whole blue-black/gold-white dress taught us anything, it's that 99% people don't see colours correctly at all as soon as a warm white balance is happening.
I trust almost nobody on what has "good colours", especially if they refer to hues as tones like they're amateur Fujifilm users. Most people can't acknowledge a difference between what is pleasing and what is accurate, and lose their shit when somebody says that their weird, muddy-green sepia haze doesn't actually look like the film they wanted.
And then there are the colour grade/LUT/cinematic belends, who clearly have never watched a movie in the cinema in their lives.
"...he battlefield of life..' LOL! ...except Sony color science... :-) What would happen with insect eye detect? Image that little box jumping like a meth addict from eye to eye to eye to eye... This whole phenomenon is kind of like the car fan world.... gotta love the arguing about that. The human need to "belong" to a brand causes lots of interesting fun... Makes for great comedy too. Every camera is great about two years AFTER it’s original release AND several firmware updates later by which time on top of that, it costs about half. Buying a new cameras is an expensive and suicidal beta tester experiment for idiots in a rush of something they ain’t gonna get. That’s it.

Is it just me, or does the XH2s look better than the Xt4 but WORSE at the same time? It looks better in the same way that a Netflix documentary looks ‘better’ than Casablanca.
For a borderline cinema camera it oddly looks less cinematic. I’m thinking of forsaking Fuji, auto focus, and ibis entirely and get a bmpcc 6k with a good video tripod instead. What are your thoughts on such a radical decision?
I've literally watched every review of the X-H2s in every lemguage I could understand even a single word and I've seen better performance from X-H2S in other videos, probably it was a firmare issue. But some things are the same, and that's not always good. Suggest you look some reviews
