The rubber seal is called a “baffle” and it’s almost easier to remove the battery for easier access on the drivers side. I have an 07 crv and you answered all my questions. Good vid
Just installed these bad boys! Love the fact that you can take off the ring and install then pin down with no headaches! Especially the driver’s side! 10/10 would recommend! 😎🤙🏽
I just did this installation with another brand LED kit that did not feature the removable bulb base. One thing to mention, the fuse box on the driver’s side can be un clipped from the bracket it rests on, giving you plenty of room to work. You can bend the front metal bracket as well and bend back into place when finished. I have to trim away some of the center sections of the rubber covers to fit over the fans in the end of my bulbs. Was pretty tricky to install them with the covers on and getting the retaking clips to hold the bulb. Got it done though.
@@glendahopp From what I remember, it just pulls up. The wires will be a bit tight to work around, but it helps. There is a tab you have to push while pulling up on the fuse box from what I remember?
This was an excellent video. One thing that would help alot is being shown how to get these right side up. I installed these, but they were upside down. I could not get them in upside down, so I just drive with them in High Beam mode and the have them light up the road and 1/2 of the sky in regular mode.
What is the sequence? Three prongs out. Clip three prongs. Stick bulb in rubber gasket. Twist bulb along with the rubber gasket into three prongs. Is that the right sequence? I have a CRV 2004.
Why the heck would he show installation on the driver side where we can’t see anything he’s doing 🤦🏻♂️ ??? Wouldn’t it make sense to install on the open side to show us then walk us through the cramped side. This is so backwards 🤦🏻♂️
Installing these with those push springs are a pain in the ass and the rubber grommet doesn't help at all. Those video is completely useless as an install video
In North America, the 07-11 CR-Vs never came here with projector headlamps, they were all reflective lense types. Your country got the better versions we did not get.
@@masterofuploader4 I feel like America is not as great as we like to claim. But then again I've never lived in your country so I really cannot compare truly. Only other country outside of Canada and Mexico I've been to is Spain (Barcelona) and I felt like that was a much better place to live for overall happiness in daily living.

Great tip! You should polish the headlight for a new car look. Very easy to do.

I installed these on the passenger side no problem but how do I un-clip the fuse box?

It might be switch to the other side of the car
Tried installing these today and both rings dropped in the engine bay 😒 Waiting till dark so I can find them.

Need a bit more clarification on how we adjusted the LEDs
I love them really good thank you there want I want and needed perfect at night
do these work with day time running lights??
I disconnect my daytime light from fuse box got annoying to see plus saves headlight use

I’m starting to question if you actually installed it on the drivers side
those rubber seals are impossible to work with
My 15 year old daughter figured that one out. I put the LEDS through the rubber gasket, then installed them. EZ-PZ.
@@johnlozauskas778 yeah I figured it out pretty quickly. Got frustrated.

Make a better video then. The guy tried to help out. It’s a good video IMO. Just read my comments on how to help make the installation easier.

Why is your crv not equiped with Projector lamp?
They come equipped with projector lights?
