- In this video I show you how to preserve your Rosemary and Thyme as if it were fresh for the winter and even longer. You can keep it for at least a year if not longer.
hi debbie, you can freeze your basil by washing it and drying it. then take a food chopper/processor add basil and a bit if extra virgin olive oil then fill ice tray with mixture. then you have fresh basil cubes. you can use aa needed after they are frozen. there are other ways too. just search youtube.

Parsley> I wash dry and stem parsley, into double freezer bags, air out and freeze, perfect for soups, chowders, meatballs, and no chopping.
It's easier to write on the bags before you put the herbs in! Thanks for the video.

when I took the rosemary out it seemed wet.....and didn't roll off very well. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the tips. So, should rosemary leaves be left on the stems before freezing? Could you pull the leaves off beforehand?
Hello! I pruned back my thyme a couple months ago and neglected to preserve at the time. I left it in a box drying out. Do you think it could still be used? It still has a good smell to it, though not as strong of course. I would love some advice if you have a chance!
Parsley can not be re rooted & grown You say.? like other herbs put in water till they grow a root & then into a pot with Potting soil.?
