I own no part of this music, except for the notated transcription.
Thanks for watching!
I honestly don't know what's scarier, being able to play something like this, or being able to notate it!
not only play it, but Improvise it.
not being able to notate it... but to actually notate it :)
IKR?!
or having to listen to this
2:18 the sickest breakdown ever
Nice. What was your goal in transcribing this?
To learn how to transcribe without a rhythmic background! I also just love this solo, and I hope others can take some harmonic and motivic inspiration from it!
Is this actually you, Mr. McBride? If so, or even if not, it's been a pleasure to understand your work more deeply.
Yes. Thank you.
Wow
Nice
Christian is just the best❤
truly remarkable player, he is
Amazing job!!
That sax player's face at the end says it all
THE GOAT!!!
Christian is totally scary-what brilliant playing🤠🙉🥶

The chops man.....they speak without explanation.
Chuckle to self slightly about intonation ....

🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
2:25 I said: Daaamn and you said it too
😮
How knows some day...
Good wavy gravy... this is blessédly good! Sincere question, you trancribed the last riff he did as semi-quavers in 4... It felt like triplets to me... forgive my inability, but was he actually playing in 4? Or triplets? Very cool...
Impressive, I don't have the patience to sit down and write out all of this. So thank you. What other transcriptions do you have as I love trying to read through them, I also would love if you could link your transcription so I could download it to print out and read printed out instead of on youtube haha. I have to keep pausing it!
anyway good job and thanks.
Email me a @ nealperrinemusic@gmail.com!
i think it is done with a computer program so don´t worry about it, and if my hearing is not failling i can tell you that there are missing notes aswell, but that´s not so important.
Wow! What program does transcriptions? That would’ve saved me a bunch of time!
They are already at list 30 years old, Frank Zappa used to do that at the studio with a midi interface
Makumbo Lindo what is it called? And how would midi transcribe this?
50 cent Candy shop intro in here.Gangsta.
1:10 sounds identical to the opening riff of "frame by frame" by King Crimson
Exactly what I thought when I heard it, to be fair its just a pentatonic run up and down lol
Still tho, the tempo and key are very similar!
thats more like a 260-ish tempo btw
Hey Neal, I tried to buy the pdf, but it did not work.
Just curious as to what it means when there are double notes at the start? I notice McBride is tapping fastly.
i know this is late but they’re just double stops. he’s playing two notes at once
Fuck yah
Do you have the full score in a PDF version?
Marietta Roditi email me at nealperrinemusic@gmail.com !
Is that Philly Joe standing behind CM!?
Amazing Job.PS:a little error in Bar 62 not 10/8 but certainly 9/8...
Franck Blanchard haha nice catch
Jesus Christo!
2:07 is so scary I close my eyes
it
Can this he played on a eléctric bass?
It depends on how high your neck goes. If you have a 2 octave (24 fret) neck, then you can definitely get all the pitches. I'm not sure if it's possible in terms of technique though. I'm sure it could be if the work was really put in.
Surely it's way easier on electric bass if anything.
Can I play this on my recorder
I wonder if another person with his ability will born in the next 5000 years.
Tota mäkin aikanaan harjoittelin, mut jäi vähän kesken.....
being infront of chick this is really the only thing you could play
what the hell
i see a repeating pattern ... dont show reference points to the children
This is ridiculous - just ridiculous!
