The madagascar ride is unique to Universal Studios Singapore and doesn't exist in others Universal Studios parks. The video is in real full HD so choose to watch it in 1080p definition! Because the ride is sometime dark you might have some video "noise" when you watch it full screen, but not that much. Enjoy the video!

OMG I loved that ride! When the falling boxes come near u it's like, they start to fall and u expect them to stop but they keep falling it gets me everytime even thoug I've only been on it twice
Whoever is behind the camera, YOU DID GREAT AT CAPTURING EVERY TRANSITION!:) This ride seems cute, they could've done more with it. But I will say, it was a lot longer than most rides which I appreciate that👏🏼👏🏼

No the ride area will be replaced with nintendo world, the madagascar area outside of the ride is what will be Minion park :)

That was a cute little ride! They ought to put a Madagascar ride in the Universal Studios Orlando, or Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure!

The only obstacle to that is Blackstone (owners of Busch Gardens and SeaWorld) have the theme park rights to Madagascar in North America. Until that changes, it won't happen.

This was one of, if not the first Universal Studios rides I went on back when I was a kid. Shame it’s gone.
On the bright side, at least Super Nintendo World will be one of its replacements

When I first heard of this ride being built, I was so excited because I was a fan of Madagascar. Pity that it didn't turn out to be a roller coaster/a fast ride or even have a small drop

Riding this was like slowly watching an 8 and a half minute ad for Madagascar.
I think people on UA-cam are implying the words "awesome" and boring meaning different things. The better way to state that would be say: while people are bored because of its slow motion, others enjoy it for its animationics and artistic efforts put into the exhibition. The arguement goes like so: if you were to take the J Paul Getty Museum and turn it into a log ride with a dip down the hill instead of a slow tram for commuting only, wouldn't the people who enjoy the museum for its artistic contribution to art now hate the fact that their exhibition is ruined and played for a fool? Although, there could be 1 dorky university guy saying: art is fun and it can give you thrills. Most people would be hot or cold. However, the way the Madagascar "ride" is presented is basically an exhibition. Hence, thoughts will always be that they hated or like it. I have not seen one comment in the first 10 who decided to argue that it has pros and cons.

Derek Mckean well... of course universal isn't the right place if your into the slow dark rides I just think that if your into thrills and rollercoasters then I recommend either six flags or universal but if you your into the slow and artistic rides then I recommend Disneyland or Disney world

This ride closed just recently.
Singapore has four official languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay, and Tamil. English is the common language of the nation and is the language of business, government and medium of instruction in schools.
NO drop during the ride. In the first concept i think there was supposed to be one but they had some technical problems and to redesign the whole ride, this time with no drop.

No, no drop(s)! Originally the ride was supposed to have drops but they had a major conception problem and apparently had to re-design the whole ride, and so, "exit" the drops.

Luckygirl Maybe it's the tour aspect - you know, when you ride around the pirate city as the pirates chant their song? And yes, you're right, Pirates does have a drop - I forgot about that. But I live in Florida, so Pirates only has one drop here.

The whole time i expected it to build up all this anticipation for a big drop, but nope.
I came there today
What if their was a ride just like this called, attack of the legendary kraken, so your on these boats, and you travel through the lost city of Atlantis. And theirs this kraken that lives in the abandoned place, and as you navigate through out, you encounter the monster of the sea aka the kraken, so you try to escape, theirs booby traps, sketchy courses, and sudden drops, this ride is simular to a roller coaster, log flume, and even the mummy ride at universal studios. As you try to escape, the kraken will try to grab you with its arms and tentacles, and then, the kraken blocks the path way to the exit once your boats stops the kraken pounces, and before the kraken can grab the riders, the boat suddenly drops down towards the exit, we called this the final plunge

Neither is Terminator, Shrek, Men in Black, or Simpsons. That's just Universal Studios Florida too. They license a lot of things.
Disney does the same, until recently Star Wars and Indiana Jones weren't Disney properties either.
