To tell the truth, the ride that now is totally different from what was planned. It was supposed to open a year & a half ago but circumstances our control made it impossible. Just saying that it wasn't meant to be a family ride. They had 2 drops taken out. One was a 3 storey one.
@Coaster123ification There was a second floor in the initial design. But water splashed on parts of the ride with animatronics, and fire breakout was also reported. Parts of the scenery was destroyed, and they had to redesign the ride again. Also, there were problems with the initial boat design. I think they have scrapped off the second floor from the initial design.
Still nothing like It's A Small World, Pirates Of Caribbean or Splash Mountain, but I guess that will do. Wish they have a little more animatronics and light the ride a little brighter!
The storyline to me seems kind of confusing. It seems sort of random stuff they have. To me, at the beginning they should have had more about them being in the zoo, and wanting to see the outside world. Than, go from there. Instead, it's just like crates, and they break out of them. And it reminds in the order of Splash Mountain, but without drops, and that's weird to not have drops because it's a Universal ride.
@WanGibraltar I remember them talking about it like that. It was originally more of a Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but then it became more like small world. It still looks like it could a fun ride.

damn it... i rode it on the friday preview i was waiting for a drop at the end cuz i knew there was a photo shot during the ride.. then when we came out to the queue... i was damn sad.... all it needed was a single drop!! but the animatronics r quite good but they should have kept the second floor!!
Even kids that rode felt that it was boring ...some of them were yawning ..... USS. Should have made a drop and that ride ...al least the parents and the older ones could have some trill . Those kids who are afraid could be in the comfort of the parents . Honestly .. Would go for a ride more than once . But these ride ..is for people who has never been on it

Wow...what a strange ride. The story seems choppy. Animatronics are lacking. The film sequences are disrupting of the flow and it's a very long and very flat ride. Kinda boring looking. Hopefully improvements will be made if they decide to bring it to the US.
At least Small World was a well-written song and made specifically for a ride. This "Move It" crap is just some dumb pop song no one remembered and DreamWorks decided to use it for their movie just like they did in with pop crap in the Shrek movies. Then they play it over and over on this ride. Extremely annoying. You can keep it. I'll take Small World any day.
this ride was dissapointing ... rode on friday's premier. luckily i chionged in and sat within 15 min. But how can they build the ship so big and only use 1 level? pft wasted space... and at least have a plunge -.- When they say family ride it literally is a family ride

@Alphaigniter The ride was designed for a younger age group. You are 25, themeparks have to design rides that can appeal to various age groups.
