I've always been curious about this model. I enjoy carrying the smaller Saks quite a bit and the nail clippers are a cool tool to have. Great video Jack 👍

The nail clippers are excellent and definitely come in handy. Everything else is what you'd expect from Victorinox.

I bought my first 580 a couple years ago, and now own three of them. Of all my knives, a 580 probably gets the most pocket time. I use it in an accompany-carry role mostly, along with a larger blade.

I like it and use it alot. I usually just drop it in the bottom of my pocket. Thanks for checking the video out!!!

Best nail clippers I’ve ever used. I was carrying a 580 everywhere and everyday in the 5th pocket of my jeans until recently, just trying new things and a different carry atm. I’m using a Victorinox Nail Clipper (the non multi toolish version) and it is rubbish in comparison to the 580.

Excellent, glad to hear that you like them. I'm thinking it's definitely going to a part of my edc. I'm not how I'm going to carry it yet, Pocket, 5th pocket or Keychain. Thanks for checking the video out!!

Usually the scissors on vitorinox tools are amazing, don't know why they would change them. Good little tool for the money though been tempted to pick these up on several occasions as it's basically an SD Classic with clippers but now hearing about the scissors im not so sure. Thanks for the look see and Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

I guess the are style of Wenger scissors. They seem to function other than on paracord. It's definitely like the Classic just slightly larger and alot thicker. Thanks for checking the video out!!

This was originally a Wenger tool, Victorinox adopted when they took them over. This isn’t a survival tool, it’s for grooming. The serrated scissors help hold stray beard hairs as you cut them and the spring is far superior than the small Classic-type spring. Given the intended purpose of the 580, the scissors work perfectly well. I carry one every single day to accompany my real blade.

I knew the scissors were from Wenger, didn't know the whe thing was originally Winger. The scissors do work great on beard/ mustache hairs. Thanks for checking the video out!!

Pronounced “Venger” afaik. I have an Esquire (also Venger…their version of the Classic SD) and the serrated scissors are just fine by my standards, but then I dont cut much paracord usually a stray mustache hair or something hangin’ out of my nose. Good video, thanks.

Lol, That's exactly what I usually cut with the classic scissors. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
