    Setting up the Atlantis pendulum squat machine begins with adjusting the shoulder pads to a height that allows you to comfortably position yourself under them, ensuring proper support throughout the exercise.
    Next, move the stopper to a comfortable stopping point for you and lock it in. After that, select the appropriate weight by loading the plates onto the weight pegs, starting with a lighter load if you are new to the machine. Once the weight is set, step onto the platform and place your feet shoulder-width apart, aligning your toes slightly outward to match your natural squat stance.
    Secure your shoulders under the pads and grasp the handle for added stability, ensuring your back is straight and your core is engaged. When you’re ready, rotate the handle backward to unlock the weight and push off with your feet into your starting squat position.
    As you descend into the squat, focus on keeping your knees in line with your toes and maintaining a controlled, smooth motion. Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement, ensuring your thighs are parallel to the platform or slightly below, then push through your heels to return to the starting position.
