I'm about 6 months into my first big boy beard at 41, love it!
That's awesome!
-Ben
I started at 60. After 30 days I had virtually nothing, but at 6 months, it looks good. You gotta try or you'll never know.
Rise of the bearded men! A trend is evident: a beard improves your appearence no doubt about it. Let it grow for a self acceptation boost. Great consultations Greg!
Does it help attract women.
@@verybigkittens7550 I'm surprised but it actually helps!
@@BalHatase Not got one at the moment. Since February 14th
no disrespect, but that may be due to disregarding other aspects of self-care/your life. Are you overweight or underweight? Do you take care of the hair on your scalp or shave it consistently? What’s your style like? What hobbies do you undertake? Lots of factors can influence your sexual market value. Unfortunately, the physical features can often times be the difference though.
@@vinniedeluca2188 Looking like a baby is not attractive but hey different folks different strokes
All these beards are epic. Each man looks better bearded
The 57 year old to me had the biggest transformation.
A lot of these guys look really good with a beard.
That would be me - Thank you for the kudos Mr. Reed - and back attcha!
My beard is my superpower
Turned 40 and divorced same year. I decided I would try for full beard. Took some time and a great barber. People I've known my entire life did not recognize me with a full beard. The ladies love it!
this is santa talking abt his elves
more like Kenny rogers lol
More like Gandalf lol
The 58 year old had the best transformation in my opinion.
In my opinion it was the 57 year old guy
7:27 also him
The 58 y/o gentleman has my vote, but shout out to all the men in this video. Great stuff all around!
grown my beard for the first time in my life. going for a first tidy up today. love it!
Im new into the Beard side of the World and rly enjoy this Videos like Beard vs no beard or growing updates
Aii I made fbe list I’m 24 but close enough 😂
haha poor old man
I'm 4 months into my beard and I'm still patchy but working on filling in those patches! Everyone should have a goal and mine is to make everything connect. I have to use a mask for work, so that has been helping while I fix it up.
Your Hair And Beard is Perfect Never Change it...
Only thing i would say you’ve got wrong is about the connection between the beard and mustache as that’s actually not always a case of they cannot grow it to join and connect it can be a style choice as I purposely cut mine and don’t allow it to connect as I prefer it with out being connected and some style and cut their beards in to a style that doesn’t allow for it to be connected like I have chin strap beard and mustache but they ain’t connected because it’s a chin strap beard and what that young 19 year old lad had was a long version of the chin strap beard that’s probably why the mustache isn’t connected he might have cut it like that purposely
I think its great that this guys try out new styles and let their beards and hair grow. Its nice to see the difference between the before and after picture ^_^
I hope we have some more pictures in the coming months :D
Hope you all doing great in the quarantine time 👍
Himan’s beard is awesome, but I think it would look better with neater head hair myself
Stellar video, Greg. Love the transformations, these guys look exponentially better with the beard. Great job. Miss you, Brutha.
Your videos just helped me reconsider going to the barber and giving up after 3 months and decided to give it some time and let it go
I’m 10 days in. I always shave it during the “awkward” phase. I’ve decided to give it 3 months before making a judgement call on it. We’ll see how it looks on April
Update??
@@Christopher-ms5ke I have a low jawline beard going. Hard to describe, long side burns, goatee with a low jawline beard. My cheeks just never filled out enough but I do like the look I have going rn
@@cookncrook6902 update cheeks and sides is it full?
@@y4ska37 No. now I basically have side burns, a chin strap and goatee. It sounds bad lol but is a good look for me. I get genuine compliments on it. My left cheek was pretty full but my right cheek was patchy so I had to shape it this way if I wanted a beard.
@@cookncrook6902 yeah bro but you gotta cut only the non patchy side as the same as the patchy side and grow it. It will take time like 7months to a year to become full you gotta keep go
Love your videos Greg! i am 48 from Guyana, South America. Growing my beard from 1st November 2020. I follow you and the other guys from Beardbrand.
I really like Matty’s beard
I think David 24 should clean up the cheekline up, but other than that it looks nice
I’m growing my first beard at 59. I never thought it would be any good but I am so happy with my corona beard. At 4 months I am regularly described as Santa, which I find very flattering. I have the handlebar moustache too. Quarantine continues, so will my beard. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Keep making this series
I work at a hospital, we had about 10 guys in my department with beards, mine the longest at about 4", and with the mandatory use of N95 mask we all had to shave. Our covid-19 beards went the exact opposite. I refuse to let "the vid" win. I have grown back the circle beard with large porkchops, so basically I shave where the mask seals on my face.
I decided to grow my first time beard during my isolation, and looking at my genetics and facial hair history (21 years old) it wasn’t looking like it would work out. However I grew out for 90 day without trimming, and the length for good. my moustache and and chin were really thick, however all my sideburns, cheeks and connection for goate, was so thin and being blonde/ginger thin hair wasn’t looking too nice. So I decided to trim up at 90 days and keep it about 1 1/2 months length and cleaned it up, and I’m definitely keeping and hopefully over time, the thin areas will fill in thicker, and then the time will come to grow it long again. Thanks for the video
Will, I started in February. Granted, I am 56 and my beard is a LOT thicker, etc. than it would have been even 5 or 10 yrs ago but i have to tell you, I had areas where next to nothing was happening at day 60 that is now fully gown in. I was surprised. I actually had one hair that was WAY out of place, considered chopping it off because it looked silly and now, 5 or 6 months in, the whole area grew thick. Strange but true. Stay the course, Brother!
Each one of them looks fantastic with the beard! I also grow a yeard since january and even tho you cant see it as clearly but iam smiling all the time now. Beard on
Why don't you put an image of yourself with the beard on your profile picture.
I started 37 days ago unfortunately (but luckily my beard grows double the average rate, even though it's a bit patchy). I kinda like it. First time growing at the tender age of 20!
Edit: mine's almost identical to 2:31
Good luck
Thanks for including me in the video. My age is actually 45 not 38 but still appreciate being included. @weems2
How did they get your age so many years off?

Dumbledore is back guys he's alive !!!!!
I'm 66 years old and am now letting my beard row shooting for a yeard I'm at around the the 90 days ish stage
lmfao this guy is too good i love this channel
They are all an improvement. All blokes look better with facial hair
07:25 I'm actually more surprised at how smooth this guy can shave, haha
I'm 32.
An i still have baby hairs pop up every were. Blonde, red, brown.
Don't ever think you meet your limit.
You dont know until you grow it out.
Love Roberts pattern with the grey. Lookin forward to getting some more grey in mine
Why are all these beards really good, I wish mine looked fuller.
It's always good to hear from you Greg. 👍
My ex-husband could grow a beard in a weekend - If we went camping for two weeks he came home looking like Grizzly Adams - He hated it because he had to shave twice a day - We always want what we don't have.
Takes me about 3-4 weeks to get a beard.
I shaved my beard in the quarantine until I was able to get a haircut because having gnarly hair that sits I all directions no matter how much you try to style it and pairing that with a big beard just makes.you look sloppy, but when barbershops reopened I went back to my old friend the beard, I'm two months in now but my beard grows pretty fast in my opinion, for example my mustache is only one month in and i can already get a bit of a curl on it
started my corona beard, but since I have to wear a mask at work, it gets wavy and I don't care for it. I think it looks ok when I don't have a mask on, but the mask "goofs" it up
I made a mask by myself that fits the beard and does not bend it from a piece of cloth.
you are better with something that covers the whole head. I can't stand the poxy ones they are all wearing now. I have one for diy stuff, but prefer to use a perspect shield when buffing clock parts.
I have to wear a mask as well and does the same but I dont let it get to me, when I go home and shower and cowash my beard it looks good, at least to me. I havent hit the 3 months yet though cant wait for 6 😁
David. 58 years old. Is the Winner!!
Never go back!! Haha 😁👌
How and where do we submit photos for this?
I started my corona beard and ended up shaving it because I wasn't happy with it. But every time I shave, I regret it. Right now, I'm considering a yeard, but I'll see where I'm at around 3-4 months. I suppose I could still consider it a corona beard.
I love this channel, lot of good information. I just hate how long it takes for my beard to grow in, and a year later, it is no full, it makes me want to give up. On top of that, work says I have to follow the contours of my face, no length. They already wrote policy to make me cut my hair.
11:42 The guy's name is probably Federico, Fedenco is not an italian word.
Cheers from Italy
The guy at 4.10 is like a young you!
I always have had a beard of some sort, but quarantine got me to trim down and grow out the mustache. Let's see some video of the Covid Staches!
for me the 20 years
Love the work you guys put in on beardbrand!
How do I submit pictures of my beard to you so I can get your advice on it? I have a patch underneath the soulpatch and my soulpatch is weak, also have no hair on my neck in the middle underneath my chinline. I've tried to see how others with the same patches do, but haven't found anyone with the same beard. Would love if you get back to me Greg, am happy to be on the "show" so I can get advice.
(genetics sure is unfair, my dad had full beard at around 15, while I'm 26 and don't have a full beard yet).
I prefer to call it a pestilence plague beard. Makes no difference to me , always nearly have some form of facial hair anyway. It takes me about 3-4 weeks to grow what is then classed as a beard. I work from home any way restoring and repairing clocks.
Quick growth you!
@@BerzinskyRules Thank you Greg. Was over 30 before I could grow anything like a beard.
I've been growing my beard for a little over two weeks. I usually never grow it.
Grow it down to your toes man!
Keep growing!
Does it have to start from complete shave to count? Does it still count if you have a mustache or goatee but not a full beard for the sakes of growing a 'COVID- beard'?
I’ve got the disconnected mustache and beard. I’ve had a bead for the better part of 4 years and it just refuses to grow in there. And my beard grows in red/auburn and my head hair is brown. My mother has fire red hair and I got the beard of it lol.
I'm.same red beard brown hair on top
If I dont shave for 30 days I have a full on beard,6 months we are talking several inches and at no point any weird bald greasy hairless areas around the mouth... it just comes in thick everywhere, I think it is weird that so many guys act like it is some kind of THING they have to learn or work at, just leave it alone, in a month you should have something birds will seek shelter in OR you are just not a beard guy.simple as that. some guys just cant grow a beard, get over it. it is not anything special.
13:25 my dude got a kratos beard damn!
Damn, the last guy aged like 20 years with the beard, for better or for worse :)
Havent shaved in almost 9 months. This shit is gettin crazy haha
Can i send my photo

Curious as to what your shampoo/ conditioner routine is and which products you use. :)
I started to grow a #coronabeard also my hair
Thinking about the keeping it
I cut it down to a 5mm stubble. Best look
Egyptiandude96 has a cool beard, I like the round shape of it
Dawn Greg ,huge beard ! My its like that but a little bigger lol..i have a huge beard y have middleeast gene..
I've kept up my sides but I have a helluva goatee goin
Without a beard I look younger but my sister and my mom didn't like my beard so I try to keep it short but I don't know how to cut a 4 month beard so I shave it off and start again... I miss my beard 😭
Use a beard trimmer on the shortest setting, when it is long enough again.
@@verybigkittens7550 thanks bro I will use one for sure
Use a cordless one. I used mine a couple of times a week on a no 0, then let get longer. Done that for the last 30 years. I also use a philips one blade for the edges.
Jus keep growing it. Don't listen to the women in your life when it comes to your beard. I always regret doin that. Don't trim ur bwardn when wet.
Get some decent scissors and trim round the edge. Don't cut strays off tho they will settle down and thicken up. And shave up ur neck but not under the chin. Looks ridiculous when ppl do that.
@@matt6575 I don't have a women now She died on feb 14th before this pestilence kicked in.
How do I send pics to u?
James Logan Hart, by far …
Gregg; I don’t know If this is a question for you; but do you know if a a vitamin deficiency affects beard growth?
Balanced diet can only help. I know that Vitamin E and Zinc are suppose to be good for hair and hairs....interesting topic

I’m an old guy, deep middle aged and very late to the party😆
😮💨… by the time we’re early 50’s, you’d have to be super good looking not to be sporting some kind of beard.
Greg, another great video, thank you. Now ... do the world a favor, shave those luscious locks, commit them to a charity and go bald with the beard! What have you got to lose ... you've walked us all through all your other experiments. LOL ... just a thought (challenge?). Beard on, my Bruthas!

Hi Greg, i have got a 2 month beard now, i want some advice through consultation. How/Where do I send my photos to?
I’ve always rocked a 5 O clock shadow, kept it short. Never considered growing a beard due to quite a few keloid scars on my face and neck from childhood. I haven’t shaved since Thanksgiving and my wife randomly commented on how good I looked…now I’m a month and a half in and fully committed to growing a beard. Never thought I’d be able to or would but overall very happy as of now.
imagine what greg would say if keanu reeves apply to this challenge..(He has more patches than windows 10)
Keanu still absolutely rocks it though
Not counting chin stubble I'm growing out my "beard" for the first time at age 29. Patchy and thin at 4 months but getting better as time goes on.
These indian and middle eastern dudes just have crazy beard genetics. Holy shit are they born with a beard even!?
*Beardbrand ASMR channel up next*
What a great video! Hopefully many young men who think they can never grow a beard will be inspired by guys who put down the razor for 16 weeks.
I hope they all keep their facial hair
Those are great beards! I am about to hit the 3 months mark, and I am beginning to love and embrace the whole grooming process!
Cheers!
Nice! Keep going.
-Ben
i got mine haha
Great concept, Greg! Would love to participate next time, hopefully I mange to send through some before and after shots if needed 👍
Btw, this is the first time si notice you have a LOT of light brown / dark blonde in your hair. Is it the light reflecting from the warm wood around in the room? Always thought you were a full on grey wizard!
The bottom of my hair has a brown cast but in this shot it's really coming from warm lights on either side my face. And possibly the reflection from the walnut desk top.
Greg Berzinsky That's what I thought! 😁 Let me know if I can assist with some shots for a later video! First time I let me mustache do it's own thing and now I really like the way it compliments the wild beard!
Been growing for six months, but I’ve been trimming up until 2 weeks ago. And I feel like my growth has stopped. Should I let it go or am I just a guy who can’t grow a great beard. #bummed
I do have a question now that I think about it. My chin area is alot flatter and more coarse feeling than the rest of my goatee. What should I do to fix that area?
My bread looks exactly like the 20 year old except for a patch below the chin.
If you have trouble sleeping watch this video.🥱😴
