Most of the time I would say that other than misconception, it's the mainly the acquired taste/tongue being too attuned to unhealthy/over-decadent foods. For example, a person who is 24/7 fad food/greasy/wok-hei laden inclined, asking him/her to try out or even tasting just 1 plate of healthy food, it's going to be a tough sell. Only way is to gradually tune/ starve out the cravings for such foods and start tuning the taste-buds to learn to consume "lighter" tasting stuff, then it's possible to enjoy healthy foods.

absolutely. You are spot on. Adjusting, adapting and retraining their palates to a new way of eating is what I spend a lot of time coaching my patients, that is the key to sustainability of a new and more health promoting dietary lifestyle.

Even I had the same perception, until I came across honorable Sri Khadar Valli Ji 🙏
Each time each Siridhanya tastes better than the other one..
It's yummy, it's healthy beyond words.. My blood sugar is normal my hormones are balanced, my cravings for unhealthy foods are gone..
Cannot thank you enough Dr. Khadar Valli Ji🙏

💊 Healthy food is often perceived as boring, tasteless, or unpleasant.
💊 This misconception prevents people from exploring healthy food options.
💊 It discourages individuals from learning about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and its impact on preventing chronic diseases.
💊 The misconception hinders efforts to fight against diabetes and other lifestyle-related chronic conditions.
💊 Many people rely solely on medications instead of embracing healthy eating habits to manage their conditions effectively.
💊 The misconception steals years from people's lives by discouraging them from making positive dietary changes.
💊 It is possible to choose healthy options and still enjoy food.

Beans and grains are delicious to me
But they've been getting a lot of negativity these days because of the claims of phytates oxalates and anti-nutrientsand sometimes I get scared to eat beans and grains but they're healthy aren't they?

I like apples, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and frozen berries. I read apples may help prevent a lot of diseases. Too bad fresh fruit only stays good for a limited time.
