Great question! It sort of depends how you have it set up. If you've never created a business manager before and he just got access to your personal one, you'd want to follow the steps in the tutorial to get access. If you have your own business manager, you should be able to see the ads if you're the account creator. Most of the time when you hire someone you give them access to run ads for you, but still have those ads in the account.

Great question! Unless I'm not understanding correctly, it sounds like Facebook has it listed that there's ads you've run that haven't been paid for (you owe them money). I would make sure you have the the right card and see if there's a way to make that payment. I suspect if anything related to your name/personal account is unpaid, you'll have issues creating and using new ads account until that payment is made. I had one client where the credit card kept hitting max and we really couldn't do anything until that was fixed and we were settled. Does that make sense?

Ah, thanks for that clarification. If you haven't used it yet and there's no payment to be made, you could simply create a new ad account. You can create lots of ad accounts, really the main reason to bring in a personal account is so you can still see all the data and performance of your old ads, and also make copies/relaunch old ads. That would probably be easiest without downsides. Let me know if you run into any issues with that!
Also I have 2 business managers and 3 campaigns each. I have been running ads for the past 3 weeks. It shows active but not spending any money. I double checked all the problems like audience being broad, ad budget being too low, trying duplication different campaigns, trying sales/engagement/conversion campaigns, etc. Still I have not been able to spent a single penny since I started fb ads. Any suggestions?
It seems like you need to resolve the account restricted with Facebook. It's hard to get ahold of their support, but I think you'd need them to lift that ban before you can do other steps. I'd do some research on ways to reach out to them.

I tried to see if I could get that to work. I don't think you can completely transfer ownership, but you can give your facebook business manager full admin privileges to do absolutely everything on the account: ua-cam.com/video/khGwupV2kM8/v-deo.html You'd follow this but share access instead of removing the access to the partner.

Hi Jacob, I followed all the steps but I get a notification that my account has a wrong status or is getting rated. I saw that notification before and needed to Identify myself with my pasport. I did and it said ''Well done, you can start advertising now blabla''. But now I still get this notification when I want to add the ad account to my business manager. Do you know what to do? Does It take a couple of days or what?
That's a pretty frustrating process. Yeah, it usually requires a few days for them to kick that into effect. You can check the status of your business manager by going to business.facebook.com/settings and then scrolling down to business info.
It's hard to get ahold of Facebook support, but it can be possible. You could see if you can get them to push it to active/let you know why it's still holding you back from advertising. Their support is buried in their support docs
