I like the “will it hot tent” series because it’s entertaining. Personally I’m not much for cold weather camping but I find the idea of it fascinating. I did go camping a few weeks ago and of course it snowed only an inch or two. Not much but I had a little buddy heater I turned on from time to time and a 20f bag and i was comfortable enough.

I'm in!! Our grill has sprung a leak and I have burn marks on the side where the propane sits, yeah, safe, lol. Hey, like any hot tent, you normally need some shielding around the stove, should be easy to put some up for that! :) Love the build.

That XPS insulation is super flammable and melts into molten plastic. You’d be in a world of hurt if that caught fire while you sleep. With some mods it could work, but I’d need to fireproof the XPS for sure. Glad you made it out with your skin.

I'm really enjoying the will it hot tent series. If you decide to use any other materials that may melt. You could build a stove shelter from some old black pipe and a welding blanket. It could be made with three walls and a roof with a whole for the stove pipe. It should keep the main shelter from melting plus direct the heat more. Sorry for rambling on. Im just excited to see some outrageous hot tents that actually work. On the grill the glass is sweet as it would save you from having to open it to check on your food and if a stove type light was added to the inside it would make it even better. I ended up adding a double wall pipe to this one. I thought I forgot it but found it in the Jeep. Wish I noticed it first. Wish I thought about the glass when I was putting it together. Thought about last week and forgot until it was too late. I could have just take the canvas tarp I used for the floor and continued up the wall too. Too little too late.welding blanket I use all the time but didn’t think about it for this one. Great ideas. Glad you are liking the series. I’m having so much fun with it. Thanks for watching

You can use wood pallets and cheap poly tarps to build a base that will keep you off the ground. You could even insulate the pallets too.

You've been a great help in reviewing tents that I considered buying but then didn't because your water test exposed the leaking issues - I did however buy the Pomoly 6 Pro based on your review and I can't wait to get it out camping this spring. The water issues you pointed out are minor compared the size and benefits of that tent and easily something that can be fixed by myself.

I don’t always show them but whenever I have any heat source in a tent I have both a co and a smoke detector with me. ALWAYS! I highly recommend both. With smoke it take 30secs for the smoke detectors to go off and over 12mins for co to go off. But if it’s just co with no smoke the smoke detector won’t go off. So I have both. Thanks for watching. Also power wash is great stuff! I use it to get the black stuff off my tea pots.
