I used to get gel nails. That last ball bit ruined my nails. The nail tech used it often to clean my cuticles but she also used it on the base of my nails. Let’s just say I had to wait until the indent from the bit grew out. Theeee most aggravating thing ever 😢🙄😒 now I just wear my nails natural. Best decision EVER!
But I love these videos so much 💞💕💕

I've been doing my own manicures at home. Because I use oil constantly, I don't seem to be accumulating much in the way of cuticle growth. My mom used to tell me that when you keep your cuticle beds, moisturized and clean, the rest of the growth basically sheds off by itself on a cellular level which you really can't see. With regular hand washing, the excess growth just comes away. I have the best cuticles now. Nail tech has come a long way, and I am now able to grow my nails. After a lifetime I'll struggling with biting, weak nails due to poor nutrition, lack of attention and being hard on my hands. I'm old now. But my nails are growing pretty good, and I'm having fun with them.

I've also found that keeping the cuticles moisturised helps a lot! I have a hand cream on my skin so I moisturise my hands and nails each time I wash my hands. I now don't have to push back/trim my cuticles at all

Cleaning process, nail bit are ran through an ultra sonic first, (shakes off debris) then is rinsed with water, after they’re placed in a sterilization pouches, than ran through an auto clave that goes up to really high temperatures to kill all bacteria

Hi hi ❤ I need help 😢 I bought the only clean bit as I am a beginner at doing my own nails. I watched several tutorials but I still overfiled my nails around the cuticle. I’m careful to hold the drill at the proper angle, but I had a noticeable dip around my cuticle area after using it. I can even see it as my nails grow out so I’m sure i overdid it 😅. Is there an even more beginner tutorial someone can lead me to? Haha TIA 🫶🏽

After becoming a licensed nail technician...its actually not a good idea to remove cuticles
It cauuses hang nails and nail dryness and super hard skin around your nail bed over time
It forces people to NEED manicures and lotions and cuticle oils...it takes away from the natural nails self repair process
Some people have bad hang nails and its because they get their nails done too often
The only reason its recommend to get your nails done every two weeks os a market scheme to keep money in the techs pocket
Its similar to how a doctor gives you pills that causes other problems so you need more pills
These new nail techs are forcing y'all to conform to electric files and UV lights like thats healthy when its NOT
And as a licensed nail technician im advocating SAFE nails NOT "cute" nails
I just don't want people to think efiles are great alternative when its not
Less is best....no matter what haor nails and body
