- Russian Manicure with Scissors Tutorial | Alternative French Nails
In this video I will show you how to do Russian manicure, also known as dry or "combo" manicure. As we combine electric nail file and scissors to do cuticle care. I also finally tried alternative style French nails. What do you think?

I really dig the Russian techniques. Another challenge for my self-taught journey
Makes sure you study theory. It's very necessary to damage the root from infection. It just the dead cuticle is removed. Good video.
Don’t do the cutting of the live skin, the reason its known as a Russian technique is because Russia doesn’t have any boards that are designed for regulating health and safety for the public. Removing the eponychium is a big no no, it’s live skin that gets confused for the cuticle ( the cuticle is the sticky stuff on the nail plate, it’s dead and CAN be removed) removing the eponychium ( the LIVE skin above the nail) heightens the risk for infection because that is the sole purpose of the eponychium, to protect the matrix and nails , and it grows back thicker because it needs to be there so the more these uneducated people remove it, the more the body creates a thicker skin barrier.
Please go to school. Self taught is good but the law is the least if you plan on practicing on real clients that are paying.
Same here girl your not alone
Oh yeah let me mention I got my license btw but from experience schools don’t really teach you what your gonna need to know in the field they just want your money
I almost choked on my tea when I saw the sausage pic lol
Haha :)
Me Too !!!!!! 🙄
Is the eponychium removed from the fingers in this video? 🤔
🤣🤣🤣 I was caught off guard definitely
Ya what was that about?😂
I'm a nail tech and doing this is a game changer. I looked our country's regulations, and we're allowed to perform this. Since you're never too old, I've just signed up for a Manicure course. Like hair dressing, new techniques and products come up every few years.
You can’t lie Russians & their beauty techniques are unmatched 😩😩❤️
I redid half my hand with the Russian manicure technique. It’s so obvious which nails I did over. This technique fits my skill set far better. Time to finish fixing me nails using this technique.. !
She has such pretty shaped fingers - my whole life I've wished my fingers looked like that.
I know right?
Same
i never understood that, i always thought it was ugly. i prefer my shorter cuticle beds and small hands.
@@SinfulKitty you can still have small hands with long fingers and larger nail beds, they look elegant and refined, meanwhile small nail beds look childish and bitten
@@HoneyPatchworks my nail beds do not look bitten lmao
Very pretty! I love watching you do cuticle work not only because it's relaxing but it also helps me to keep improving while learning different ways to do it as well! Thank you for sharing!
Yes! Exactly what I needed! I just got a job in a salon and wanted to improve cuticle work ❤️
Go to a nursing home and practice on those ladies
I loooove this design. It gives a nice almond look on short nails. I will definitely give this one a try!
I wanna try too
Anastasia - what do you feel about cuticle remover liquid? In many salons in the USA this product is used to soften the cuticles. Have you used this? Is it a good option to move faster?
I love e-file and sphere bead buffing!
Love everything even the hand poses at the end oh and the music. Thank you for the video 💐
I love a good Russian manicure 💓 thank you for this video!
I'm glad you like it
Oh that's very different from the normal design Anastasia I really like it...love your channel thankyou for sharing and stay safe xo 💜💅💜
Incredibly satisfying to watch
This was so helpful in every step! Thank you!
You're a godsend, it would be a dream to have nails done by you!
Did mine for the first time ever, actually easier than I once thought.
Hearing our French artist Camelia Jordana made me smile, love your work 🥰✨
Omg what is the song it’s so beautiful!!
@@h.a3960 wait I was wrong lol, it’s Clandestina - FILV & Edmofo 🤗
Super cute and simple!
First try with the help of your video and my nails look amazing. Thanks for the video
Thank you. Exactly 😂💕👌 The Look remember me too on it. Top Idea... I will defenetly use it the next days in ma Salon!!!
Love watching your videos tyfs 💗💙
I have suuuch a hard time cutting cuticles. It takes me like 20 minutes. I’m so scared of cutting someone! Love the way this looks!
i loved the little song in french
I love this! And the sausages!!?? Hilarious ... I laughed out loud and woke up my husband! 😅 oops! (I truly was not expecting that!)
Very Happy someone is bringing back natural- looking nails. When the lunula is showing the nails are healthy. I use a cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers, But scissors look safer. Natural and French nails in my opinion look cleaner, lady like, and professional. And using nail forms again in my opinion is better than tips. ❤
Thanks for the video.
Beautiful and very detailed
In the Netherlands we learn never to cut the cuticle. But I think it looks so much better.
May i know why?
@@kindlejoy cutting them causes them to grow back even worse, rougher, more jagged edges, and can cause cuts that allow for infection
@@Kai-rc8cj if done correctly nothing bad will happen. If you don't keep doing it they will just go back to normal
The cuticle band is there to correct the root from infection.
Is so important to do theory as it's very important to know about what's going on with the nails. Good luck and good video.
Such a helpful video!
Excellent job!!👌
Those are beautiful.
It's very cute! I like it. ❤️❤️❤️
So beautiful Anastasia!!!!!

Anybody else catch the song mentioning cocaine around 03:45
Yes, and it was 8.30am here in Australia when I tuned in, not even time for my coffee yet, never mind cocaine🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is that the title of the song too?
ua-cam.com/video/1fmInhotfDI/v-deo.html
Bahahahah!!! My son overheard the song and said, "Mom! Why are you listening to songs about cocaine?!?” 😂😂😂 I told him the song is in Russian, they aren't singing about cocaine... Did I lie to him??? 🤣😂😂😂
Fitting! It’s 4am and I’m not up doing nails without a helper 😂😂😂😂🤷🏼♀️
I think this set is cute. Thank you for sharing this.
Beautiful nail shape in the end as always sweetie! And 😊yes I also think that the design look like you have shorten the nails after a long extended nailbed😊 I must admit that I still dredd the scissors🙈 I like using my drill bits for that part😉 So I guess I need to practice on my own nails first so I can get more confident using them😉 Tfs xoxo 💕
Love your content
Thanks, Nicole!
Thank you
Beautiful 💖
Very pretty in a unique way to do short nails and still make them look attractive
Thanks!
I always love your tutorials Anastasia, especially all the technical components to them - thank you for sharing with us :) - Tina, from Australia

I've Been Waiting To See 👀 What All The Hoopla is About RUSSIAN NAIL TECH'$???!!
💅O'KAY... She's Very Thorough!!! And Total PRO.😁👍👍👍👍👍
Great job👌
How much time it takes to make nails like that from start to end , including old gel removing?
I love this. May you share a link for a nail drill you recommend for a beginner DIY. I don’t plan on doing much, I’m only interested in applying short tips. Searching for a drill is super overwhelming.
Thank you ..
It's so beautiful ❤️, I've been following you on Instagram for some years now. just subscribed.
This was so detailed and helpful! Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Beautiful work
Thank you so much 😀
I didn't know that once a brush is used with polygel it shouldn't be used to apply "normal" gel. Perfect timing as I'm going to be using polygel for the first time this afternoon!! Why do the two products need to have separate brushes?
I’d like to know this as well!
Is the gel base coat that you are using before gel application the same one as the one we use before putting gel color?
Thanks for sharing :D
Wonderful! Love the sausage pose 😆
These nails are perfect! ❤️❤️❤️
I love this thank you. How long does it take to perform this kind of cuticle work? Thank you
Perfection! The sausages cracked me up!!!!😂😂😂
Thanksss
Hey! Can you please tell what kind of brush you use for nail dusts? ☀️
How long does it usually take you for a manicure without gel/acrylic on top? I'm technically a beginner and myboss has quite high expectations about perfect results and for me to do it in a certain amount of time, so I'm asking for speed/perfection advise
Anastasia. I like to use NSI Balance Hard Gel for Sculpting. I've never been brave enough to try poly gel as the base but always wanted to. A lot of Polygels are soft Gels so it's okay to use these Soft Gels under a Hard Gel??? Thank you darling.
Keep going :)
You have such a beautiful NAME love your voice. Cheers Nancy from Canada
Thanks!
Thank you so much! 😘
Wow beautiful. Wonder if I can get this done on my toe nails since there so ugly due to fungus nails 😭
Very pretty. Try again with other colors.
😊 great

Can you link me to any video that you have with nail shaping
Do you have a list of links to all the products used in this video?
I love the look of a Russian manual, but we were taught not to cut live skin? How can I get the same look without nipping the eponychium?
What type of primer do you use? Where do you buy it from?
The sausages 😂😂😂 ❤️❤️❤️
It so beautiful, plz show us how use building gel and creat perfect apex for beginner.
Turn the nail upside down while curing, the Apex will create on its own
@@juliap7730 i ll try it thx more
