I think your missing the context for which BFO resides. It is an upper-level ontology and functions as a type of blueprint or guide. Another way of describing BFO is an ontology of ontologies for ontologies. Its not meant for usage in the manner you describe. In regards to skipping, I noticed the same. I think its better to focus on the presentation on not the minor audio glitches.
