I have a question. So is a heko obi similar to a scarf?

In shape, they are similar, but the help obi is a bit firmer (longer too) and not as soft. I have one I use with my yukata when I go to fetivals in Japan.

Sorry for getting back to you late.
Heko Obi is different from scarf.
In order to adjust the shape of the Bowknot tie or other, Heko's material will be harder.
Therefore, the shape of the obi tie can be arranged in various ways.
Heko Obi which introduced in the video, is more easier for beginners,

(In case anyone else is wondering) The fabric in a heko obi is somewhat more stiff.
