@@mentlegen3887 it's a lot of fun getting parries with it, but charging sidestep seems better dps wise I think. Being able to skip the 0.7 modifier on level one charge is too good to give up for me.

I started to main bow (coming from CB) at the end of iceborne. So happy with the state of the bow in rise. After adjusting a bit it feels super natural for me and is hella strong. Though it looks like all weapons are super capable in rise, I love the balancing they did so far!

Not really rocket science if you are a speed runner. They can adapt quickly, plus, there must be tons of run before this, and this one might have given the best rng.
I’ve had a build like this one time in 4 ultimate. It’s scattershot with pellet up. Increasing spread type shots. It’s basically like a shotgun. Which is why he’s always up close. You can’t be too close or too far. Gotta be at the critical distance. It’s hella powerful.

its a switch skill, which you have to unlock. its replacing the jump backwards. i think you have to craft different bows to unlock it, but google it to be safe
I'm still learning with the bow. I feel like a dummy because I didn't know you could aim where you want your arrows to go after you launch yourself in the air with that spiritbug move. I thought it was just shooting them straight down. oops
Bow was always the best in generations because of how stats are distributed in the game I think. Sense this game is heavily influenced from the generations and double cross stats naturally the bow would be meta like it was for thosr games

can someone explain the specifics of dodge bolt to me? the wiki description is not very clear. "Baiting the attack and making it a near-miss can fill up the charge level considerably". Does that mean if you barely dodge an attack, you gain full ("considerably") charge? or +2 levels? or what

A lot of the skills carry over from previous games. Just observe new attack patterns, adjust to the physics of the game, learn new tech, and voilá.

With how bow seems to play in this game, it really looks like Kingdom Hearts combat, so the music is extra fitting for this hunt.
I love how Goss simply gave up halfway through the fight, just dazzling around and hoping for the fight to be finally over
