- Thanks to Siroko I’ll be all kitted out for the Autumn and Winter. In this video I am wearing size L M4 jersey and J1 soft-shell jacket.
I’m also wearing the BX Envalira bib thighs with wind proof front panels.
For reference I'm 185cm tall, 87Kg and 106 chest. Usually wear L for most brands, XL for Castelli, for Siroko M2, M3 and SRX jerseys I wear M, for M4 and J1 I wear L.
You can use my direct link to shop for Siroko kit with an extra 10% discount automatically applied to the prices on the website. I’ll also get a small help, so thank you in advance.

Thank you again for watching,

I've actually experienced the opposite! I come outside, to prep, and find I'm perfectly comfortable. Once ON the bike, however, and in the wind, I'm cold. So....whatever! thanks for the discount...love the jackets. :)
Thank you! I understand what you have experienced, I should have put that comment in context of a short and punchy ride, when you warm up for the effort. If it's a longer ride at lower pace you are right and you can feel colder as you go.
Aloha, I will say after wearing the Siroko jersey a couple of times now I am really impressed with the quality. When I am able to add to my kit I am defiantly going to choose Siroko and benefit from your discount code and their already great prices. Thanks again 🤙
Thank you so much!!
Cheers for these videos always good to be able to look up your cycling brands before purchasing just to see the fits. Put in an order though your link saved me an extra 40 odd euro than the normal black Friday sale prices.
That's great, thank you! I hope you like the kit!
Great review Federico! I just ordered from Siroko and your code seems still to be valid 🙏
@@ViAlism thank you!
I bought J1 Domestique recently and its one of the best sport gear i have ever owned in my 30 year of running and cycling
I might be biased, but the kit is really good value and quality!
Clothing looking good Fede . those bright colours are pretty cool, the only problem for me with bright colours is that it’s hard to keep them clean and looking fresh on a wet day as I don’t use mudguards . I’m too lazy 😂. Keep up the good work man 👍🏽
I know Richie, my back is pepper sprayed today! No mudguards as well, only small one on the Merida
Great video, you champion their clothing well. The cappuccino jersey is the bomb, btw bike in background looking sharp 👍🏾
Thank you! Remember cappuccino never after lunch or dinner 😂
Dear Federico, for base layer I'm using since latest 2 years merino wool and not going back to synthetic. The best and more happy it's with Futurum merino branded, very good quality, fits in absolute comfort. You can use it in a wider range of temperatures, colder and warmer than synthetic. All Made in Italy...
I also have the m4 and envalira, very happy and good price quality.
Great to hear, will have a look as I haven't yet tried merino base layers.
M4 JERSEYS ARE AWESOMEEEE!
Yes, I really like these kind of mid weight jerseys, perfect around 14 - 12 degrees
My package from Siroko arrived 2 days ago... gloves, neck warmer, arm warmers, m2 longsleeve, merino base layer. Maybe I will put another one for black friday..
Great, I hope you like them!!
Looks nice but let's be honest, Gabba / Perfetto is king.
Gabba is unique as it is the perfect cross-over between a thermal jersey and a thicker jacket.
Federico, what about the pants; Are these demi - season or they have fleece layer inside; In Athens is still warm the weather and I wear demi - season long pants.
Hi, these BX Envalira have windproof panels and thicker fabric, so better for winter with cold and rain. For lighter pants I have the SRX Pro Supreme, very nice and perfect for half season.
Some nice cycling gear 😀💪🏿… thanks 🙏🏿
Thank you!
I saw that you spend time in the Gym, too. Do you have a workout plan? How many kg do you use e.g. on the bench? Do you also ride longer rides like Marathons?
Yes, I love strength training and gym, I try to go at least once a week, ideally two. I work upper body, chest and back on every session. Around 60 to 70Kg for bench, but I always put the priority to full range of movement and technique before increasing the weight. I don't run, cycling is my first more cardio based sport
Excellent and informative ✊🏾👊🏾
Thank you Paul!
Did you find the long sleeves were "too long" and went past your wrists? Great video!
The M2 sleeves are a little longer, while the M4 and J1 sleeves are perfect length for me. Thanks!
Should be called “The Federico Range” 😂🥖🥖🥖
😂😂
Is there anything Siroko haven’t sent you?😂
@@malz3836 can you sense my wife enjoyment while I fill every wardrobe in the house...😂
Hi Frederico, can you advise me on the j 1winter jacket. I'm 172 tall with a 103 chest and 75kg. I'm medium in the m2 jersey's which you advised and they are a great fit. Thanks. Great videos, keep up the good work.
Thank you! I love my J1, I found soft shell works great below 4 C for me and if you are not riding hard you can use it up to 8 C degrees. I wear the M2 medium and I am 185cm, 87Kg and 105 chest as I like it very tight. I wear the J1 in large and fits me perfectly. Being soft shell is not super stretchy, so if your M2 fits not too tight I would go same size with the J1. If your M2 is tight, then size up to large.
Hi Federico, I have a question about sizes ;) I'm considering a J1 jacket and I'm in a dilemma between size M and L :( I'm 180 cm, 88 cm in the hips, 80 waist and 100 chest and 75 kg weight. Which size would you recommend? I'm thinking if a size L would be too big / loose for me but also not sure if an M would be too tight / small. Although from what you say the jacket is warm and just wear a baselayer under it. I see that at your height of 185 and 87 kg you have size L, which looks great on you, so I'm more inclined to choose M, but I have a dilemma... BTW, thank you for doing a great job on the presentation and sizing of Siroko ;)
Thank you, it is not easy and I believe you could fit both a tight M or a roomier L. See here the new updated J1, now coming with rear traditional pockets. It seems also slightly softer material. ua-cam.com/video/k5WoepoYZK8/v-deo.htmlsi=pHWhzM2IczdVtbFG&t=326
@fede1275 Thank you for your quick reply. I saw on the website that they added pockets because the zipper was probably actually uncomfortable. But I didn't know the material was a bit softer. I'll probably decide on size M ;)
@@fede1275 I just picked up and tried on my new purchase. Everything fits me perfectly in size M. Thank you again for the tip about the size. I see that Siroko has added hints on the website in the form of a recommended size.
@@elkemp that's great!!
Love the cappuccino jersey
Yes, but not after 11.30am...
Hi, may I know what size are you wearing for the BX Envalira bib tights please? I'm about to buy one but in doubt about the size. So I might use yours as reference. Thanks mate!
Thank you, I wear L in all bib tights brands, apart from XL for Castelli. I'm 185cm tall and 87Kg
Is the J1 Winter jacket stretchy? I wear the SRX jersey in L (could wear M though). But I think when I wear a baselayer + normal jersey under the winter jacket that it could get a bit to compressed 🤔. If the jacket is stretchy I could get away with it I think.
Hi, the J1 is not too stretchy, as the sleeves are tailored and the soft shell is not designed to be too soft. I wear L in the J1 and M4, M for SRX and M2 jerseys. I wear a compression light base layer under the J1 and I was okay last night just under zero degrees, while keeping a good pace. On slower pace or colder I would add a gilet. J1 is becoming my favourite winter top.
@@fede1275 OK thanks 😃
So I received my J1 jacket today :). Rode in -10°C german weather ^^ and it was really nice! Didn't get cold at all 🙃. THX for the video
@@crack0n Minus 10!! Wow, I am happy you like it! This morning was -4 and I had mine and it worked really well 🥶
ITS a nice jacket but, This Zip and pocket, IS terryble, ITS Very hard to open and close when you are riding.
@@rhayonne they changed the design of the J1 jacket, no more zip pockets. Now it does have traditional pockets
Lol, “that never happens”
😄😂
