Icon my ass!! Dee, If you would have Walmart mic farted at the PMRC hearing as your opening statement, I’d agree and upgrade you to legend. Be that as it may, you’re still super cool. 😂
I saw him at Universal Studios Florida with his family and just admired him from afar. We were on the Jurassic Park ride and him, his family and his bodyguard were in the car in front of us. His security guy was so big he took up the whole back seat. He seemed super nice though.
I met him in 2004 in Valdosta, GA. His band was playing a free concert in the parking lot of a bookstore for a 4th of July celebration. Across the parking lot was a regional wrestling show. I was with the wrestlers since I knew them personally. Later that night at the bar, Dee stops by our table and wanted to tell the guys they put on a hell of a show and that he’d watch when he could from the stage. He asked me if I wrestled and I told him that I was in the Air Force. He shook my hand and bought us a pitcher of beer. He’s a very down to earth guy. Very cool dude!
Him and Frank Zappa showed that musicians aren't just a bunch of freaks... Some of them actually have intelligence, more than the government that's for sure...
Absolutely! His son should take some lessons from him about stage presence so he’s not doing backflips when he’s not singing. His kid can rock like his old man, but he needs to develop a stage persona.

And knowing that Celine Dion sang that song and sold 14 million copies of the album it was on? Awesome.
