I’m so focused on the health of my hair recently. Ever since I started researching, switched to affirm relaxer, eating healthy, and trying out new products all in ONE month(!), my hair has quickly gotten healthy and grows faster than before.
Especially, I haven’t blow dried my hair since last December so avoiding heat (for me) makes it get thicker or something!
But yeah, the goal for me is get it to chest length again so healthy hair first and the length comes after! I’m so praying that I’ll see greater results by December 😩👏🏾❤️ consistency is key and knowing what your hair needs is vital!
Your hair is so thick and long too! ❤

First let me say that you look Soo gorgeous here!! 🥰 You really do look like a black barbie!! 💕 Girl yess I am Still and always will be loving these relaxer/ health/ length updates!!! These type of videos was what kept me motivated and inspired to keep me going on my journeys! If you can could you please do a full detailed video on how to self trim!! I NEED to know how to do it myself. I can trim my ends bluntly with no problem ...but the crown, nape and edges I just have no idea.

Good job done. Please can you recommend any protective styles for me. I find it difficult detangling my hair on a daily basis. Is that also bad ?

The hair looks lovely. I am looking at a one year stretch as I am on medication that prevents me relaxing. I too have noticed that my curl is also very loose in the last 3 years and even at 8 months I am easily able to manage. I noticed a bit of loss in July so my dermatologist has me on tretinoin and minoxidil to repair. It was super tiny but was near the temple so I noticed it easily. In December we will take a look and then if okay I will relax then. I do trim as needed, protein every 4 months and deep condition once a month. I modeled for 15 years and my hair could not grow with the amount of things that was required. Luckily they would typically throw a wig but other times the heat and the products was a struggle.

I feel you with the OCD. I am the same way. It pisses other people off but at the end of the day it’s your hair and if it makes you feel good you should do it. However I understand wanting the challenge yourself to try and not let wanting perfection get the best of you. I am trying to challenge myself as well.

It's so hard! but I had to force myself not to cut my hair since I do have goals I want to reach! I definitely had to change my mindset and not be so hard on myself. Once I did that i've been able to put the scissors down! lol
