Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls, Colorado | Opening Day after Shutdown

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is an national park that conserves an area of large sand dunes up to 750 feet (229 m) tall[5] on the eastern edge of the San Luis Valley, and an adjacent national preserve located in the Sangre de Cristo Range, in south-central Colorado. Opening Day after pandemic with gorgeous weather and short thunderstorms passing by allowing a short (not crowded) visit to near by Zapata waterfall. Beautiful, picturesque places.

I wasn't flying in the park. Drones are prohibited in NP. No questions about that but the dunes are so big that in no problem to see them miles outside the park. All in-park footage is done with Osmo pocket. Thanks and have fun.

PrimoMedia - Chris Biela so you can fly outside of the sand dunes and it’s okay and still go over the sand dunes as long as you took off and landed outside of the park?

No you can't. It is off limits. My drone can't fly into restricted zone or even take off if I'm in it. My software will not allow it. I flew only outside of the park.
