Do you have a video replacing the serpentine belt in same engine ? I see some videos but a lot of them fast forward when its time to install new one . Also does it require removing pass side wheel for it ?
Sorry I don’t but u can replace the belt up up top use long screw drive or attic to guide it first make the diagram so u don’t loose track of belt routing
@@RBTheMechanic Thanks for your quick answer , i have all tools needed and a diagram ... Im doing soon spark plugs , pcv valve and belt .. Thank god no issues , just doing some maintenance before winter
@@Joserocha-wm9de yup most in winter time check out fluid coolants washer fluid use winter ready wiper blades tires and battery is a must if it’s older than 3 year change it
When compressing the belt tensioner if u hold up ur wrench / tool straight up 90degree it will not compress u will brake the tensnor it will be very difficult u will know it so try to keep it more leaned to the radiator if u stand by the passenger tire try the angel 190 degree it would be super easy to compress if it’s making u force lot then ur at wrong angle
@@RBTheMechanic Thank you very much for your recommendations , defenetly i will do ... Torque specs for spark plugs ( i got denso ) i think its between 18/20 ft lbs right ?
@RBTheMechanic I just got the spark plugs changed on my camry. While my uncle was changing then he said I need ignition coils. Will that make the check engine light flash on and off and the car run rough?
Obviously you want to remove the negative terminal on the battery to prevent an explosion. The battery vents explosive toxic gas! Sparks and explosive gas sounds like a major problem! 🤔
What if I remove the middle part. When we closed everything back up there was oil splatter. Any suggestions? Did we not do something right? Should we add more engine oil?
Sweet, just got a 2004 Camry, its running all good but want to pull out at least 1 sparkplug to see what kinda condition its in if the engine is burning oil etc... Any tips on the main things to look out for to check what condition the engine is in?
Well watch my video and u will see there’s like yellow burnt spit on the plugs if it got that on it’s change it also the tip if it rounded of change it and in there oil on the coils or spark plug change ur valve cover gasket .. how ever I would just change the plugs since u just got it make it fresh put in good plugs denso!
@@Iknowyoumadnow mine is a 2004 and the silver paint is still good. Just has a few dents but previous owner barely drove it and it's only at 52k miles now!
u can use the igntion coil to pull the out once they r loose and some sockets for spark plugs have the rubber boot inside that bring the plug out with the socket
I've had my 04 Toyota Camry for 5 years and I have no idea who had it before me but my friend said if I get my spark plugs and wires done it will run smoother. I didn't see you say anything about the wires? My Camry is laggy so that's why I'm searching for why...
Ok well the 2005 Camry dosent have wires those are older models if u see I mention ignition coils that has replaced wires it’s direct coil on each plug. Anyways if coil or plug for bad u will feel shake in the car it is misfire and ur check engine will come or or might flash while driving ... other than that u should change the spark plugs.... now let’s talk about ur car laggy? What do u mean by laggy?
tsquares I think it was 14mm or 3/8th just match up with new plugs when I did this video I didn’t show much of tools now I show and tell more of tools also torque specs
Yes 6 cylinder has 3 plugs in front which can be changed in 20 minutes then u got 3 in back which required to remove intake hood 1hr and 30 minutes to get the intake off to get to the spark plugs the reverse process
and that's part of the reason that the V6 version of these cars are not worth getting. Also you get better gas mileage and the car is more reliable on the 4 cylinder versions.

Yup easy and simple thank you!!!
great video. what should i do if the coils don’t wanna come out?
Why it would not wana come out? Try using other to kinda pull it straight up it could be melted or been stuck in there
thank you. How tight should the spark plug be?
I believe 14lb but google and double check it
this is very helpful the question i want to add is what type of tools
Spark plug socket 10mm and ratchet with extension

No need to do that batter disconnect
i would

Which sockets, what are the sockets sides?
14mm 10mm

I’m not sure what u mean by middle part
if you're talking about the plastic cover, its not needed it just makes the engine look more tidy. where did the splatter happen specifically?

What size socket for spark plug 14mm ?

Only change if they r bad
I think he's referring to the mumble about the customer. You started yelling a story but never made any sense out of it! 😂
