I love the wet tumbler . I deprive first the all a drop or two of soap rinse it out after 15 minutes then add more hot water and a bit of cleaner 30 minutes they are super clean . I deprime first because no matter what you do if deprime after cleaning you still get dirt in your press. I use a hand held deprimer to avoid getting dirt in my press .

Does that bell the case when you deprimie? Also adding more stress to the case?

I buy crushed walnut wheels at harbor freight real cheap. I guess they use it in their sand blasting equipment. Not to dusty but I add mineral spirits and metal polish like nu finish.
Dump the cases and media into a mesh screen over a plastic tub and shake it a little to quickly remove the walnut media.. I used a discarded mesh basket meant for holding fruit on the kitchen counter.
I never clean pistol primer pockets. But then I have only loaded 15,000 rounds of pistol ammo on a 550. Just bought a xl650 that is dedicated to 9mm. I case gauge about 4-5 out of every 100.
