@Miko Chu babes are not always quiet, What do babes do? Cry and get emotional, they get offended and complain, still in sin. In 1 Peter 2:1-2 God is saying to put off sin as newborn babes. Revelation 3:15-16 says what will happen if you don't. Also how can they be unbelievers if they are believing what God can do for them? (Going back on your first comment)

I was asked that once. I brought up pharoah's magicians when Moses threw his staff down and it turned into a snake. The magicians threw their staffs down and they also turned into snakes. Satan can also do miracles, seen throughout the bible (2 Corinthian 11:14). I have done many supernatural miracles. Is the miracle selfless? If not, it is from satan. For example, I could go and lay hands on the sick and they would heal in Jesus's name, but could never heal myself. All glory to Jesus. Selfless miracles = Godly miracles. Selfish miracles = satanic miracles

    • @Ian-dn6ld
      @Ian-dn6ld 4 роки тому +4

I hope you still see this. Idk about other denominations, but the Roman Catholic Church actually tries to disprove the miracle as having naturally occurred first. Each incident officially recognized by the Church goes under scrutiny from outside non-religious institutions or universities. Sometimes psychological examinations are done. In the case of stigmati for example, or people where bloody holes appear in the hands and feed (usually someone of deep faith), the person is kept under watchful eye to make sure they’re not self-harming or keeping the holes from healing up. In Lourdes,France where Mary appeared to a 14yr old girl a number of times back in 1858, though around 7000 healed cases have been claimed from those who have made the pilgrimage to the spot and have touched the waters that sprung up from where the encounters occurred after Mary directed her to drink from the muddy waters “meant for sinners,” (that’s an event you might find intriguing), only 70 have been confirmed as true bonafide unexplainable miracles. Many of the earlier healings lack the correct documentation for scientific review which means more could, but as of now, 70 is the official number of cases scrutinized, unexplainable, and sudden cures of things incurable.

An excellent point which I wish Frank would have brought up (and I know he already knows this) and one that I think answers the doubts from the skeptic even better is that we can sidestep the entire question of "what about the miracles of other religions?" by simply pointing out the exclusivity inherent in the Christian religion.
Jesus Christ claims to be the ONLY WAY TO GOD and, in fact, ONE WITH that same God, not to mention that he claims to alone be "the truth and the life" (John 14:6)
So he claims to be God himself and the ONLY God there is.
So right there, even if we have miraculous supernatural things truly occurring in other religions, it stands to reason, that if Christ's claims are true (proven thru various means such as the resurrection, etc), then that automatically excludes ALL OTHER religions from offering anyone any hope of some sort of pleasant afterlife, meeting God, going to heaven, being true themselves in offering a different God, etc
So it does not matter whether the skeptic of Christianity can prove miraculous things occurring in other religions, so long as the Christian claims concerning Christ remains true and haven't been aptly defeated by the skeptic, then it follows that all other religions are false except for Christianity.
As a side note, from a Christian perspective, there could indeed seem to be miracles occurring in other religions with no natural explanation. This could simply be the work of demonic forces as we know from scripture that they do such fake miracles to deceive others.
So we needn't automatically assume we have to DISprove miracles of other religions, because, given my above argument, Christianity would remain the only true religion despite the occurrence of miracles in other religions.
This is why I believe the above argument is a stronger one than what Frank offered (certainly no discredit meant to him) because Frank's answer could be problematic if one can prove a miracle(s) as happening in another religion, whereas the above argument is immune to any such attack no matter whether a miracle occurred in another religion or not.

We have miracles happening today and do you know why secular sources don't record Jesus miracles? Because if they did record Jesus miracles, they would be affirming who he claimed to be, and also the Babylonian talmud record that he was being accused of sorcery, so to be acused of that means that he must have been doing something supernatural. And this also agrees with the Bible because in Mark is recorded that the Jews were telling people that Jesus did miracles by the power of Satan.

Contending for validity of a religion based on whether or not there is supernatural power being displayed is irrelevant.
The reason why I say that is because satan can perform miracles as stated by God in the biblical account. Satan can also transform himself into other beings and therefore has the capacity to decieve with both power of the miraculous and visual stimulation.
I'm not saying any thing negative about Frank because I love him and think he is brilliant in apologetics. However his claim that other religions do not have valid miracles is false. Which is not to say they are equivalent to Christianity because they are not.
I said all of that because our faith in Christ should not be grounded in the miracles He did (sounds sketchy) but our faith should be grounded in trust in His WORDS and His authority, without evidence.
Why do I make that claim? I make that claim because Jesus Himself said many things relating to it but my two favorite are these:
1.) Blessed are those who believe in Me even thought they have never SEEN me. (That is a reference to satan's manifestations of power and miracles)
2.) My Sheep hear MY VOICE and will not follow another.(His VOICE and words hold more weight than seeing Him and His miracles.)
Now I also think it would help if I clarify that I am a bible believing Christian and I believe in and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. (Not like average western charismatics) I've seen hundreds of healings while praying with people in grocery stores, bus stops, places of employment and etc, and I believe those amazing miracles have added to my faith, but they are not what my faith is grounded on.
I hope I have given a good explanation.
Like Frank always shares that God said with His own words that He did the greatest miracle of all, God created the heavens and the earth. Even though I can't see God physically, I believe His words which lead me to see Him spiritually everyday. ❤
    Much love 😊

As a polytheist, I would like to say that it is possible for multiple different religions to have their own miracles; one of the main flaws of monotheism is that it applies special pleading when it comes to miracles, as they see miracles that occur in their religion as confirming it, but have to come up with all kinds of excuses to explain away the miracles of other religions.
Lots of religions of have stories of miracles; Shamanistic religions attribute healing powers to shamans via the spirits, the hurricanes that destroyed the Mongol armies who invaded Japan were attributed as miracles from the kami, the Roman statesman Marcus Terentius Varro theorized that diseases were caused by tiny organisms ala bacteria and viruses, despite the fact that the technology to see and confirm these things hadn't been invented yet, which one could interpret as a miracle from one or more of the Roman gods.

Explain to me how the first forged gospel account of Mark didn't know that Mary was a virgin but the account of Matthew suddenly explains it later. Also there's a vast difference in the Character of Jesus before the crucifixion in Mark's account and The Gospel According to Luke. One speaks of a forsaken character and the other speaks of a character totally aware that God is on his side. The conventional method would be to jam the stories but that's not how the stories are supposed to be read since they were not written at the same but decades later. If you look into the gods and miracles of other religions...I mean REALLY look into them, you will see that their gods and their miracles were of demons. Their miracles would require sacrifices of virgins, babies, people cutting themselves, doing drugs, having sex, being intoxicated for or during their "religious" ceremonies. If you have depictions of their gods, eg: Egyptian, Sumerian, Hindu, etc, they resembled fallen angelic beings taking shape in the form of things or animals that the people worshipped. Early man had high intelligence in things lost to us but we also have intelligence not privily to them. So if an Egyptian feared the crocodile or alligator as some dirty (for whatever reason) the fallen angel would come as a human with a crocodile head. The christian God doesn't require such sacrifices. Only the sacrifice of one's will of self destruction unto the will of life through Christ.
That's deity not dirty...the spell check switched it on me.

I'm a Christian, but I think you're setting people up to be deceived if you say that other religions aren't capable of miracles.
What about when Pharaoh's magicians duplicated Moses' miracles in Exodus 7:22 through the use of secret arts?
What about in Revelation 13:13 where it says that the 2nd Beast performed great signs and was able to make fire come from heaven?
"Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth."
The difference is that unlike the Holy Spirit, their miracles are limited and finite, but they're still within the realm of what people would consider "supernatural", which is what gives them the ability to deceive people who think that only Christ is capable of miracles.

I’m not anything close to an Atheist, on the contrary I strive to live true Christianity. A lot of what this guy says is solid, but beware of what he discounts. Beware of his “logical proofs” because they tend to be utterly besides the point. Faith is the principle from which you find the Power of God. It can be tested with reason and stand up to intellectual scrutiny.
About those “Gold Plates” and Mormonism. I’d recommend people look into that a much closer. Frank tries to trivialize them in a fashion similar to someone claiming “I can make bread and catch fish too!” Such an argument when understood in context is absurd. The object is not the miracle. Taking miracles on a case by case basis requires understanding the case. Read the testimonies of the witnesses to the plates. Pray and ask God and receive revelation for yourself. Contrary to what this man says, the canon is not closed. If so there is a great flaw in the scriptures because they say no such thing. YOU can receive revelation and God calls prophets today.

In the past she went by Inanna, then Ishtar, Astarte, Aphrodite, Venus, and now she is an invisible obsession in our culture. It's just an old idol with a new paint job.

no. Christians, just like members of every other religion, do not search/research honestly for which religion is true. they simply accept the religion they were raised to believe in, and then go out and(with strong subjectivity and confirmation bias) seek evidence to support what they already believe, and evidence to reject what they don't believe.
this is why 99.9% of people on earth believe in the god/religion of their parents and/or society they were raised in.

Do you KNOW what miracles are claimed by other religions to even evaluate? They're a lot of the same types of miracles: Levitation, healing, raising from dead, etc. In fact, unlike the stories passed down via hearsay there's video evidence of miracles today where you can see someone floating or people being healed. Now, a person can skeptically say those are faked, but in terms of actual evidence, it certainly doesn't "pale in comparison".

Not quite sure I understand the logic of that statement. In concept. In theory reincarnation is a moment in time, generally scrubbed from one's memory, mostly. And then not experienced again until your next death.
Hell is a place of eternal final placement ,void of all things God. A place of absolutely no life, no "light" and no love.
And life on earth is nothing in comparison to the concept of the agony of existence without life.
People from.different times of our history, or people today of different cultures and exsistances only wish they could have been so lucky.
Mental illness and the pain of reincarnation. Really? 1 in 4 people suffer from some sort of mental illness. And do you know what most all of them have in common. They believe their alone. Mental illness isn't all that uncommon anymore. Infant it's so common, I'm not convinced that it's just not another label or a typing built to suppress the mind that much more. When did we just stop calling it depression? And when was depression a new thing?
Walk the streets of any city and look for the lost souls. Who are people in so much pain everyday at the thought of living life, they can't wait until their next hi so they can forget the world that much more once again.
No I'm sorry. But I don't think we have a Mental illness problem, I don't even think we have a depression problem. I just think, that we live in a world where mankind has gotten too good ... and too comfortable with not growing up and feeling sorry for themselves is just the norm. It's our way of life. It's like using ur zodiac to instantly try to figure people out instead of getting to know them in the first place. It's excuses and it always has been. Everyone experiences pain and at one time or another everyone experiences depression. The difference is what you do with it. Do we use it as an excuse? Or move on and get on with our lives?..

Pharaohs sorcerers were able to turn their staff into snakes yet they were not using Gods power. Best answer would be just because they are doing miracles doesn’t mean they are from God. And you can use Mathew 24:24 in support “For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 25 See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.”

I'm impressed how incorrect his understandings on all the major religions, including his own, are. "Hinduism" is a slang for Sanatan Dharma (Eternal Duty) and Buddhism is a branch of it where God came down as the Buddha to help atheists go on a better path, and to protect animals from cruelty and uneeded killing (which are sins according to all the major religions) by not talking about God (if he did...well look at what happen to Jesus). The Bible agrees with "Hindu" (Vedic) teachings about God AND karma AND being saved from sin in order to reach God's eternal kingdom (not all "Hindus" and certainly not all Buddhists are ready for that exact destination, though but Buddhists accept karma). Krishna's Vedas are probably where Jesus learned how to do miracles when he was age12-30 (Christians can't deny this because they deleted that part of his life).
Most people don’t have a full/accurate understanding of any religion. Examples:
Jesus was originally called Jesus OF the Christ. Christ is Christos in Greek/Latin, & Christos is another name for Krishna. Krishna says he’s the father of all creatures, & Christ says the father is “greater than I.” Vedas are the 1st to teach how God, A.k.a Krishna A.k.a Vishnu, created the Great Flood to destroy sin. He also did miracles & offers to save followers from sin. Jesus’ miracles remind me of things done using Vedic-science (his life from ages 12-29 was deleted…possibly due to learning Vedic-science according to many sources & some evidence).
Vedas were written over 5,000 years ago but known eternally before that. All major religions/sciences stemmed from Vedas. Buddha, Christ were 1st mentioned there, as was all math, oldest histories, other planets, Relativity, etc. It also gave the socio-economic system that dominated/thrived all over (the spiritually centered, merit based Varna system) BEFORE it was corrupted into a birth-based caste system. ALL life was respected with compassion (killing animals was allowed in rare, unavoidable situations, especially with minimal suffering to the animal...all of which is what the Bible actually teaches). Vedic teachings share the same core teachings as the Bible (including having 1 supreme personal God) but because Vedas are so detailed & allow variations for people who are less good/truthful, it ALSO mentions God with his impersonal energy aspect (Brahman) and many “Gods” (AKA angels) and people misunderstand.
Vedic shape/age of Earth is confirmed by modern science, but Vedas have their own more detailed/advanced/accurate model of creation/evolution (involving spiritual evolution of mind). We WERE all perfect because we all came from the PERFECT person (God) but we abused our free will with God and were sent to this struggle on Earth and God sent Jesus because he was the only way for the very sinful people to whom his message was meant for, not all people of all times. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

Answer (paraphrasing): We need to evaluate miracles on a case by case basis. What are the supposed miracles of Mormonism? Golden plates. I can do that in my garage. How is that a miracle? Another example, supposedly there was a miracle when the Buddha died, what evidence is there for that?
My issue: Supposedly there was a miracle when Jesus rose from the dead. You can ask the same question, what evidence is there for that? The standards of evidence put forth in both situations (Buddha and Jesus) is (I argue) on par, and yet he seems to think the evidence of Jesus’ resurrection is of more substance than Buddha’s death miracle without demonstrating why. The evidence he puts forth for the veracity of Christian miracles is that no other religion has eyewitness accounts. This is patently false. Lots of religions claim to have eyewitness accounts of miracles. A google search will show that.
Furthermore, he’s willing to come up with hypothetical situations demonstrating how easily golden plates could be procured since he could make them in his garage. Why doesn’t he do the same with his own religion? Couldn’t he come up with stone tablets with the ten commandments on them in his garage as well? He’s not applying the same level of scrutiny to his own religion as he’s doing to others and so I cringe at the obvious bias.

    • @Anonymous-de8uw
      @Anonymous-de8uw 4 роки тому

@@colmwhateveryoulike3240 Ya, that's a good question. I think a lot of religious discussion would be better if people all had a common understanding of what constitutes good evidence.
I guess I'll start with Carl Sagan, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." When your friend, whom you trust and has told you the truth in the past, tells you something trivial such as, "I found $5 on the ground yesterday," you would likely be inclined to accept what he said as truth. No further inquiry would be needed, I think we can both agree that you would be justified in believing him at face value. Regardless of whether he actually did find a $5 bill, you have good reason or sufficient evidence to accept his claim as truth. In this context, the anecdotal evidence is strong enough to carry such an innocuous claim.
What if your friend said, "I won the lottery yesterday," would you be justified in taking what he said at face value in this case? Initially, maybe yes, but you might be more inclined to raise a skeptical eyebrow. You might ask him to show you the ticket, or his bank balance. But, maybe your friend simply tells you to trust him and thats the end of the conversation. Whether or not he actually won the lottery, I think we can both agree that you would not be justified to accept his claim based on the anecdotal evidence in this case. We would say that his anecdotal evidence is not strong enough to carry the heavy claim that he won the lottery and more evidence would be required to justify a belief.
So, when religions make extraordinary claims like, "God exists," or "Jesus died and was resurrected," or "when we die we're reincarnated" we would be hard pressed to accept these extraordinary claims at face value. We might say that the anecdotal evidence supporting them is not strong enough to justify a belief in them. And I argue that for most, if not all, the primary evidence for their core claims comes down to anecdotal evidence.
You might be tempted to say, "but there is hard evidence available. It's not just anecdotal when it comes to these claims." But then you have to ask questions like why does science, the most rigorous method we have for deciding whether or not we should accept evidence for a claim, not take this evidence seriously? And generally you'll find that the answer to that is that the evidence put forth to support religious claims, simply doesn't hold up against honest scientific inquiry and scrutiny. And that's why I argue that evidence put forth to support supernatural claims regarding Buddha or Jesus is on par; the general scientific consensus is that the evidence put forth simply doesn't carry the weight of such heavy claims.

    • @colmwhateveryoulike3240
      @colmwhateveryoulike3240 4 роки тому

@@Anonymous-de8uw Ok so essentially you're saying that it doesn't matter that there is more evidence to corroborate Jesus' life, death and resurrection than to corroborate Buddha's death because you weren't there and so, no evidence can convince you since it would have to be anecdotal? Or is it just that you discount miracles as being unprovable?
If the latter, that's why I deconverted when I went to university. But I was an atheist scientist (biology btw, with focus on ecology - hence the need to immerse myself in the natural world to seek meaning rather than the society that was so evidently out of balance with reality) and I witnessed years of miraculous signs while seeking truth before I had to admit that truth itself was communicating back to me so I have to agree that until you see a supernatural series of events and verify them, it's hard to believe. That said, it actually makes for a very satisfying context for spacetime nature rather than being at odds with science. Philosophy can only demonstrate plausibility and give someone permission to be intellectually open enough to entertain and test for supernature. Which obviously I recommend.
If the former, one of the first things I did upon witnessing what I did was review all the skeptical arguments I was so familiar with and I did find that one thing skeptics dismissed unfairly was the historical evidence corroborating the Biblical narrative, and especially Jesus. It turns out that there is more evidence than a historian would expect and it is incredibly difficult to find a good explanation for much of it if Jesus didn't really fulfil the claims. There are many named witnesses to Jesus after his death, including a good number who professional historians widely agree died because they bore witness about a man who Jewish leaders referred to as a magician when dismissing his claims to be their Messiah, and even hostile Roman witnesses to his death who say it coincided with an inexplicable darkness that wasn't an eclipse. To name a few. So I understand where you're coming from regarding miracles but the actual amount of evidence for Buddha's light thing certainly isn't on par so that's why I wondered. Having said that, I have personally seen stranger things and maybe Buddha did emit light lol.

As a Latter-Day Saint (Mormon), I find the simplistic way Dr. Turek rejects my beliefs to be consistent with a lot of his arguments: Simplify them and throw them away to make them seem not worth looking at.. he says he could make Golden plates in his garage, but could he produce a book like the Book of Mormon from those plates? Even if you don't believe it is true, this argument is so bogus. What Dr. Turek doesn't tell you is that Joseph Smith says he saw a vision fo the Father and the Son. How's that for a miracle? if we're so happy to believe the ancient texts of the bible, should we not at least look at similar witnesses and be fair to them.. of course not, because that undermines his arguments completely. Beware those who have clever arguments that reject the true things of God. "For they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me". I'll still watch the videos as he says many interesting things but I would advise anyone reading this to filter the message and don't believe it wholesale. and by the way if there are false prohpets, they are there to confuse people so they don't see the true prophets... it's simple people, ask God what is right, That's why I'm a member of my faith. You can listen to people all day long, including people like me, but ultaimtely you need to find out for yourself without their clever words and influence.

Reading the books of the New Testament, we possibly asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.

it's amazing that Frank can dismiss the miracles of other religions so easy and even say that the miracle claims of other religions pale in comparison to those reported in the bible. He evidentially hasn't read the much into the Islamic faith because it was said that Mohammed split the moon. I can’t think of a more spectacular miracle claim, yet Frank doesn’t seem to be aware of that one.
What is evident is that the standards of evidence are not applied uniformly across the board when there are debates about topics which relate to theism vs theism. Frank may state that every miracle claim should be judged on its own merits, but he has essentially already given a blanket dismissal of the claims of other religions. However, he will always give an impassioned case for the authenticity of the miracle claims in the bible.
When you consider his reasons for dismissing the other miracle claims consider the following; The Gospels are based on the conflicting accounts of 4 anonymous Authors written many years after the purported event that revolve around the life of Jesus Christ.

    • @jimbob4484
      @jimbob4484 5 років тому

@@610huskymoto That's a fair point. I mentioned the inconsistency in how standards of evidence are applied, but we can also say there is a clear difference in how a theistic hypothesis is proposed when compared to the hypothesis that may be proposed as part of a scientific experiment. When we look a God hypothesis, the presumption is essentially that the proposition is fundamentally true. In arguing the case for the God hypothesis, the fundamental goal is not to provide evidence for this claim but more rather the goal is to try and poke holes in any competing naturalistic explanations. All the evidence that most theists need is in the good book so all that is left is to focus on the competing world view.
I think Frank is smart guy and is an engaging speaker. He is confident and well drilled and certainly appears to make a convincing case for people who wouldn't be well versed in the scientific, philosophical and theological topics which underpin these debates.
That said, fundamentally much of what Franks says is some variation of a God of the Gaps argument/and or a Red Herring fallacy or its also just not reasonable to draw the conclusions he makes based on the premises he gives.
Even if one concedes that the Universe did indeed need a creator there no evidence to suggest that such a creator would be a conscious personal creator that is all knowing, all powerful and benevolent and that is specifically the God he believes in. The cause and effect argument requires special pleading because a major assumption needs to be made that the creator didn’t need a creator themselves and it completely ignores the fact that the laws of physics break down in a singularity so in that sense there is no reason to believe that we can invoke causality in way we do in the universe with defined laws of nature. Added to that we simply don’t know what preceded the Big Bang. Any suggestions to the contrary are conjecture.
Fine tuning falls over in several different ways, not least because all it proves is that the Universe wouldn’t have formed if the constants of nature had been any different. It’s still an assumption to claim that the universe must have been created specifically for life because of this apartment fine tuning. Using the same logic, you could also conclude that the Universe was fine tined for black holes because they exist and are abundant throughout the universe. If the constants underpinning the laws of nature were changed in the smallest degrees, then black holes wouldn’t have been possible. Therefore, the Universe was fine tuned for Blackholes!! The logic doesn’t stand up and that’s before we even consider that the Universe is utterly unhospitable towards life. Throughout the entire Universe we only know of one planet that can support life and even then, everything on this planet is trying to kill us. Not to mention that life evolved to suit the conditions on earth and life will only be permitted on Earth for an infinitesimal spec of the life time of the Universe.
Arguments in relation to the complexity of life requiring a designer is usually a combination of a God of the Gaps argument, drawing false analogies and completely ignoring evolution by natural selection.
I think the morality is probably the weakest of all arguments for a God because it presents a Begging the Question fallacy. A God needs to be proven to exist in order to prove that an objective morality exists and so invoking a moral argument can’t be used as evidence for the existence of God. It is circular reasoning at best.
Any arguments over Consciousness, Logic, reality and existence are not much more than Red Herrings to distract from the real argument. Even if science and/or philosophy had nothing useful to say about any of these topics this still wouldn’t be enough of a reason to invoke Divine Creation.

@@Chiller31916 the first one in this video... _the new religion in america is the religion of sex_ (talking about transgender and other related topics). This is an example of him using dishonest wording to lie about what a topic is and poison the well before even beginning to try to talk about it properly... not to mention twisting the definition and use of the word "religion" into muddy pointlessness.
First one on the topic of the video... _"When you evaluate them_ (miracles) _on a case-by-case basis, they pale in comparison to Christianity"_ This is a flat out lie because many of the supposed miracles of other religions are _EXACTLY_ the same as ones from Christianity, and even the "greatest" miracle of Christianity (the resurrection of Christ) is mirrored and even surpassed by many supposed miracles of many other faiths that do the same sort of thing or do it even bigger. He then decides to not even try to compare apples to apples and cherry-picks topics in some religions that he things he can attack, some of which he completely misrepresents.
He also misrepresents Islam in regards to miracles by presenting half-truths. The only sources that I could find which say what he says about Muhammad and miracles are Christian apologetic sources that are trying to discredit Islam. The closest thing to what he presents that I found from an actual Islamic source was Muhammad claiming that the miracles were not done by him, but by Allah, and that he was just a messenger or target of them. Twist that around and ignore what is actually written in the Qur'an in other places and you get close to what he is presenting here.
He also claims that the gospels were eye-witness accounts even though they were written down by unknown authors at least a full generation after the events were supposed to have taken place.
... this is only about 2 min in... I don't think I want to waste my time listening to the rest and going through just for someone to counter with the inevitable nuh-uh. (yes, I know its coming)

We have to learn how to overcome the flesh body by getting rid of the rocks and tilling the hard soil so the roots will allow the planting to flourish. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
