    🤔 Something else to consider is after you’ve been training for 3+ years and doing heavy compounds with 300+ lbs, your joints start hurting and need breaks too, which lends itself nicely to bulk and cut cycles where you’re varying training intensity.

    Thanks for this video bro. I just started tracking my calories again since like March. Starting out pretty low in calories (compared to my last maintenance phase) but protein is high so I’m not at all hungry.

      The start is always the easiest! 😂 I’ve dropped a few lbs over the last month and plan on sitting here for a couple months until I start prepping for another powerlifting meet in the spring.

      @TrainerBigMike not yet, I’m waiting for my federation to post the dates for the spring meets to see what’s close to me. This year there was one in my town in March.

      @TrainerBigMike they had one last earlier this month, but I didn’t feel like I’d be able to improve very much in 3 months. Plus I just got my 🥜✂️ so I’m out of commission on lifting heavy for a bit! 😬

    Great video…currently on a cut…I needed the distraction 🤣. Down 6 pounds and I’m already seeing a difference. My hard earned muscle is coming through 🏋️‍♀️🦵💪🥴

      @ definitely! My cuts are relatively short (10 pounds or so) and I don’t do a large deficit. 💪🏋️‍♀️
