    Really interesting technique! Appreciate you sharing your results! Would you ever soak to remove a dent or is it typically only for removing dirt and gunk?

      That’s a great question, it’s good for removing creases, dents and dirt.

    That is just unreal. So how does submerging not destroy the card? Great job on this!

      I found it to be the safest way. I’ve tried working on cards for many years, and this is the best method that I have for these types of issues.
      Thanks for asking.

    I'm most impressed by the removal of that black spot on the edge. Any idea what that mark was? I'm assuming it wasn't ink.

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Місяць тому

      @@dsinsocal definitely not ink. It was something that landed on the surface and didn’t soak in.

    This is incredible. Do you know if cleaning and restoring the card helps get better grades on the cards? Or do the graders see that you restored and cleaned them, and give you a low grade?

    I’m sure you are asked this a lot. Do you take commissions? I have a 56 mantle with one 1/8 inch crease at the edge. I was going to buy your kit and try myself. But I know you’d get 100x better results than I would, and no risk of messing it up. Can people send you cards and pay you a fee/commission?

    • @kurtscardcare

      I can’t do it for you, but I can help you get a game plan. If you’re on Instagram shoot me a picture. You’re not gonna start with the Mickey Mantle but I’ll help you get a game plan and you can do it.

    Great results! Have you seen where Mangini and bluejacket66 are having a debate about card restoration? I do restorations on cards and get a lot of satisfaction from it just like you. Keep doing what you do and posting results I love the content!
