Wow. You've been busy recently. I hope the song doesn't reflect your mood. I've noticed quite often that the best artists, scientists and inventors are mentally unstable. They tend to be perfectionists with phases of manic productiveness and phases of crippling depression. A bright and very creative mind can all too easily turn against itself. I guess it needs a certain amount of madness to actually believe in oneself that one is able to create outstanding work or advance society as a whole. Most fail pathetically and the few that succeed are rarely the easy going happy go lucky type...
This made me think: how much do you need to be able to feel a song in order to sing it? I've seen two singers that were opposite extremes. One sung hallelujah so lovely and then she admitted that she hated that song, the other had a beautiful voice, was a gifted singer and hit every note, but her cover of a song was so bland, whereas another cover of the same song didn't have the best voice and she wasn't perfect at singing it but I love her version.
@@edi9892 Well. I can honestly say that creativity is reflected in mental health. The piece of madness and instability is undoubtedly present in me personally. I always try to sing from the heart. Especially the songs that I personally composed =)
@@SadiraAstikl Thank you for your honest reply. I´m more the scientific guy, with top grades everywhere and then I nearly failed at my PhD and fell into a deep hole... I´ve seen many people with such problems, but for the longest time, I failed to see it in me, until my (physical) health deteriorated and was diagnosed with burn-out and depression.
