I use a small piece of anti-tangle sleeve as I like the hinge effect the rig creates and it improves the bait presentation. It does not tangle during the cast when I use a small PVA bag.
Thank you for the comment. When the video was shot, the tight weave was still in development. I only use the tight weave now. Definately my first choice now.
Watch my video on PVA bags and you will see me use the Korda Chod It tool to punch a hole in the bag and then I slide the entire rig through, no probs👌🏻
Good evening, wether split shot or lead wire, both enter the fish’s mouth and on both occasions the lead wire inside the bait and the split shot is retrieved afterwards. I never had a case where the lead wire was gone after landing a fish.
The bait remains on the rig all the time. Once used the lead wire is re-used if needed. The Mainline Baits Wafters are so well made that there is no more need for this practise, so I don’t use it any more and with the Spinner Rig being so effective, most of the rigs I used to use over the years are no longer required👌🏻
Hi Gilbert, thank you for you answer. However, often boilies come loose under the fight and then another animal or fish will eath the left over boilie. Is that a concern? Thank you for the video.@@gilbertfoxcroft1377
@@Rioebroangling1 As I mentioned, I never had a bait come off during a fight, but due to the improvement in baits World wide, I don’t use lead wire at all any more.
The best carp tutorial channel on UA-cam presented by a carping LEGEND.
Thank you Kindly🙏🏻
Again the best rig tying video
Thank you kindly🙏🏻
Loving your videos, thank you. One question: Why don't you use an anti-tangle sleeve on these two rigs?

Always great videos, but do you use the Korda Kable 50lb tight weave?

@@gilbertfoxcroft1377 have you got a video where you make a rig using it. Thanks
@shaun hodge the tight weave is a leader material do you use it for rigs ?
Great videos, but how did you get the kook and mainline through the PVA bag

@@gilbertfoxcroft1377 thanks will look for it
Best videos out there on rig tutorials. Hands down
So the bird or the fish eating the boilie will ingest the weighted wired inserted... Why not just use a split shot?
