    I was hoping you would striped it down and repainted it. My OCD would have done that exact same thing. I love making old equipment like that look new again myself. It is so self satisfying to me. Thumbs Up!

    That one looks like it'd come up nicely with a T-cut and wax, touchup the rust like you say. The textured plastics though, i use coconut oil over any proprietary compounds. Works a treat, only time i use an actual product is on plastic that's meant to be shiny & then i (well, the better half!) give it a once over with Meguiar's Plast-Rx polish. (typing this just over a minute in, so will watch and see what other tips you have) :)

    Eliminator Performance Small Engine Repair here from Canada. Just wanted to say thanks for the Pledge Revive It tip on making mower plastics look new. For many years we have been using Renew It but have recently tried the Pledge Revive we purchased for $10.16 Cdn taxes all in at our local Canadian Tire and it works just as you showed in your video. It should help us make more profit on mower refurbishments for the little of this product we will need to use. The 32 oz. bottle should last many years, an initial investment that will generate extremely handsome returns. Once again thanks for the tip and looking forward to more.

    If that Revive is anything like the original Johnson's Kleer, its water soluble by design as you want to mop the floor removing the shell polish and then reapply it. Back in me army days, when they outlawed spooning (hot spoon applied to thickly applied polish and also removed blemishes and raised leather markings on DPM boot caps and not the in the gutter back to front frottaging most people are prob thinking about) we hit on Kleer which put a brilliant gloss on the boots, trouble is even on a mildly damp day it turned milky white and looked like a crown and anchor had addressed ones boot in the worse possible way and of course a prime reason to be up on a fizzer aka charge because no NCO is gonna pass on the prats like us who are standing on parade with our white gunk adorned boots on full display. On indoor stuff like Matchbox car wheels, it is going to be king because the chances of dampness or water are low but I think you will find the Revive stuff will fare badly in outdoors scenarios.

    • @dodgydruid
      @dodgydruid 4 роки тому

      I know do me boots super cheating, apply the polish in a nice thick layer and get ones hot air gun on the lower setting and just play it over the polish and it flashes into super shiny shine and the longest bit is applying the polish as the hot air gun does it stuff super quick.

    Hello Mart, good informative vid mate, thanks , but I want to make one comment, which is a delicate one.......You have a very vibrant ad lib presenter styl and. Gary is the quiet silent type thats understood but having Gazza just hanging around with leg shots in the back ground, arms folded and saying nothing doesn't add to the vlog. Maybe Gazza needs a small segment of his own with you as support but just standing around doesn't do him justice at all....no offence meant at all, just constructive criticism.

      Mart, you are always talking about producing interesting QUALITY content, my comment was just referring to that. How many other vlogs are made with non contributors standing about, not a lot. Its nothing personal against Gaz, just let him do something :-)
