    I have the MTEST-1 which is similar from Mackie and the instructions are useless. They should hire you. Thank you.

    Thank you Luis, nice and straightforward. I am a technophobe and need things explained to me simply - which you did. I have taken to testing a cable first, that I know is okay and then use that as a 'control' when testing a problematic cable.

      Glad this was helpful! As another gentlemen commented on top…using a “control cable” (know good cable) gives you a good idea of how the lights are supposed to look like when everything is working.

    hey! quick question, can i leave the 9volt battery in there without it being drained
    I am pretty sure i can, but just want confirm

      Not sure bro. I would assume not but ended up removing mine because of the same concern. I have also had them leak when left for long periods of time in devices and didn’t want to risk it.

    how do you turn it off... ??? Can I live the battery on it, it will not kill it fast??? or shuld I take it off????
