Really excellent video. Learned a lot, and much better than the manual that came with it.
What does it mean if you're testing a 1/4 inch guitar cable and all three yellow input lights are solid no matter what input you use? (The green ones turn on for the respective channel, but the yellow ones stay lit)
I don't have the manual handy, but it tells you what the different colors mean. I think your cable is a little fried.

Deb, can I send you a video where I ask for some help. That is ok if this channel does not support it. Struggling a little with using the Boss VE-8 with my new Mixer. It is the Yamaha MG10XU USB. Mostly about the gain and how the FX option on the mixer might influence the effects from the Boss VE-8. Some more, but that is most of it. You are a swell person, Deb. Billy
I would turn off effects on your mixer for the tracks the VE-8 will be plugged into. Once the VE-8 is setup and working through your mixer if you need to use the mixer effects/eq I would add very sparingly.
Hi Deb, Thanks for the informative videos you have done so far. Is there any opportunity for you to do some videos on Bose L1 Pro (16) series and use of TS4 or TS8 mixer. Specially do you think there is a benefit using Bose mixers?
I have the Bose L1 Compact. Didn't like the original Tonematch mixer and sold it. It was great for single guitarist, but so limiting on use. THAT being said I just discovered a guitarist (MIKE DAWES) that uses the Tonematch for an incredible acoustic guitar setup. Maybe you can get some ideas from him?
