Hi Ben, thank you! I learned this by following piano sheet music and coming up with my own fretting pattern. Unfortunately I didn't tab it out. I have considered making a tab for it, but my college classes have taken over my schedule and it's been difficult to find time to play the banjo even for my own enjoyment. I also had tried to learn this by ear initially but found it impossible myself. That's what led me to learning it from piano sheet music. I found that gCGCD tuning worked pretty well for me, however, I think Bela used gCGBD. Some of the spacing between notes were hard to reach at the speed that this is played so it's good to experiment and find out what works for you. I hope this helps and good luck!
@@carsonsass9875 Hi Carson. I did as you suggested and tried transcribing this piece using gCGBD. I've managed to TAB the first page of the piano music. It's amazing how well this piece fits onto the banjo. Thanks again for the tuning tips! I still have a fair amount to TAB out but I have also found that using the tabledit program has been incredibly helpful as a way of trying out fingerings and ultimately ending up with a version that's playable. All the best. Ben

Hi Carson, Amazing playing. Can you please tell me, did you learn this from TAB, or by ear? I'd love to learn it but I have no ear. Thanks. B

can you play it on the bass? There's one right behind you 😁
I would recheck your arrangement with the original score around 1:30. A couple wrong notes. But overall really nice arrangement and good for you sir.
Thanks Matthew! I appreciate the feedback. I will definitely make some changes.
You're handsome and you play awesome
