thanks for showing a cut-down version of this chapter. i ended with around 200 deaths too! this video will help with routing the escape on future playthroughs so i hopefully don't hit 200 deaths every time 😭
i beat this thing in one six hour long session. fucking insane, very proud of myself for getting through it though it's now my favorite, i get why people would hate it
this is the level that made me stop playing what a horrible experience, thank you for showing the rest of the game after, because im not playing it again
@@be-hb9ki I just dropped & uninstalled and just watched this walkthrough. Luckily I missed only 10 minutes of actual stuff - and didn't waste hours on quickloads
Gave up after 3 tries in the chase section. Lorn's Lure hooked me because there was no time pressure and you could do what you wanted to at the pace you liked. I turn 30 this year and don't want to stress myself with games anymore. So for people like me it's very out of place.
@@subwaycircuit Apparently, people were unhappy about length of the "paradise" section, which meant too little practice with a hook before the final chase segment. So author released a patch which made the first part of the level longer and more difficult. Don't know about the second part though, didn't manage to finish even the first part :)
I beat it after under 50 tries but even I think the level is a problem. That problem being that throwing this level at you as your first test with the grappling hook is just a bad idea. This game needed one conventional grapple-centric level before this.
@@ThreeFingerG I agree with this. I had a lot of fun using the grappling hook during this mission, but it drastically changes the pace of the game. It goes from an overall experience where you are playing methodically, to a game on pace with Ultrakill. The fact that some areas in this level have like a second of wiggle room is insane.
during this level, you've lost the relevance of your tools this game was supposed to be about climbing the biggest and most intimidating megastructure ever, yet your picks get replaced by faster and less grounded, less original tools in the previous level and during this one, your picks - what gave this game originality - become obsolete. Verticality is lost, too. you aren't climbing a crumbling tower in the eye of the storm, you aren't making perilous leaps across chasms of icy waterfalls and you aren't, well, climbing anything. This is just a roblox obby with no meat, nothing else to offer.
I mean... The game gives you a new supertool in this chapter that makes everything you learned thus far obsolete. Climbing? No time. Tictacing? Inefficient. Dashing? Literally only used it in that final jenga maze stretch. I love this game, but the final level was a letdown, and is in no way a test for anything other than the grapple hook. Very disheartening. Edit: actually, it does test your slope riding. That's about it.

this level pissed me tf off 😭😭
@@frag2 damn is was the most fun level to me dude.
I died 2213 times in this chapter, but i finally made it. Your video helped.
This is like a way, WAY harder and longer version of Monster-Ock from Spiderman PS1.

Yeah since this one was a little shorter and had so many deaths I thought it'd be worth trying to cut most of the deaths lol
7:58 this part was too much for me :/

wonder when someone will upload a checkpointless run of this. i died around 100 times in total doing this shit

wait, how come the level i'm playing doesn't look like that? The tower after you get the picks isn't there when I'm playing it.
Same question here.
Maybe they completely changed the level in an update? That would be lame, I haven't heard anything about that

This level was way too fast paced and it should've had more checkpoints. No other level in the game is like this at all.
The haters will say this level out of place, but it's literally the Greatest test of all you've learned in your journey.
