Very rough day visiting my ailing father in the hospital; near his final days. Coming home depressed and sitting down playing your brief video on the big screen brought a smile to my face. Simple coffee....hike in the woods and a little fire...what more can we want. Thank you for your videos. Best to you. Stephen in Boston, MA USA
Hi Steven. I lost my old father some years ago 😏 and I know how hard it feels when you know it’s just a matter of time before … hope it’ll be peaceful 😊 Thanks for sharing some of your privacy with me.
Roland Forest I am very sorry to hear about your father sir. I had the unfortunate pleasure of holding my father's hand and watching and listening to him take his final breath. When the time for his transition comes, you will find that you are much stronger than you think yourself to be. I don't know you sir, but I am sorry that you have to go through this. ATB, Keith Alabama Bushcrafters
Thank you for taking me along to the woods today as I could not go here. It was nice to be out of the house and enjoying a bit of the outdoors. Your videos cheer me up and they are peaceful. Thank you.
Dear Tom - that was a very elegant and confident eye wink. Today I bought a Green Stanley flask just like yours. I had been seeing it for years at the store. Today I bought it. Also today I had my first black coffee with whiskey. I must admit that I loved it. Simple things but great enjoyment just thinking about life and counting my blessings. Great video. I enjoyed it. One of my favorite videos.
Thanks Jose for your wonderful feedback 👍🏻😁 I’m so grateful that your watching some of my older videos to … and just received your donation on my PayPal account 🤗 thank you so much for that to brother 🙏🏻 Hope you and your family will have a wonderful weekend 🏕 Tom
So interesting to see someone from another country do exactly what I do in Utah (USA). Same pack, similar walking stick (I make them), cowboy coffee (I have now added whisky thanks to you), enjoying a pipe, solo stove. I recently added the use of a ground sit tarp. Thanks for the new ideas and keep them coming.
Great to see you out in the snow! I liked your tarp set up, and your explanation about setting up tarps! ATB to you and your family! Look forward to your next video!
Hello Tom. Another great video, I truly enjoyed it. I like your hand made tweezers. They are a great addition to your “old school” kit. I’m glad you got to enjoy your hike in the snow, now I hope spring comes soon for you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. All the best to you and your family. Looking forward to your next video. 😃
Hi Tom, a most enjoyable time with you. My 7 year old Thai daughter is amazed by snow. I had her watch the video to broaden her understanding of the world and then put her hand in the freezer to feel the temperature. She understood your good English. Here, it is 34+ deg C every day and 26 deg C overnight. Your videos help me remember what cool feels like. Thank you from Greg in Thailand
Hi Tom nice to see you out again you can tell spring is just round the corner , Love the forest walks that you go on so relaxing . After following you for sometime now have just bought the solo stove and pot etc plus the pouch as yours seem to be standing up to the use and still look new. Hoping to go to a bushcraft event soon where they will have some of the river isle packs that I asked you about will let you know, Early birthday present .👍👍😀😀 J
I really enjoy tour videos. There's a calm, content feeling to everything and you use very effective camera angles to show what you are doing. I like that you saw a need and made your own tweezers to suit, they turned out great and a nice addition to your kit!

Oh what a wonderful winter day....i think that this trip..is the "universal health-recipe" for everybody..who loves the nature and outside thank you..that remember my young trip-days..when we make trips in North of Maramuresch county ...i was born is '53..:D..oh..and WE NEVER DRINK milk....it is good a "palinka"..
Well Marta you are only 6 year older than me … so your still young 😁👍🏻 Thanks for your kind feedback and for your support to my channel 🌲🌤 Thanks for sharing your experience with us 👌🏻🤗😎
Thanks so much for sharing a great video as always look forward to seeing more it brings great joy to a old man wish you all the very best until next time my friend may God be with you and your family
Nice pleasant outing. Thanks for taking us along. No snow here at the flat end of Tennessee on the 35th meridian, but still have some 0 degree centigrade nights. Choruses of frogs at night herald the approach of spring, even on cold days. I read that frogs are signalled of spring's approach by a subtle difference in the temperate of rain that filters down to their lairs in the mud.
thank you for this video and one think i like is you repacking your gear i watch some of your youtube compatriots with amusement they seem to have 35litre daypacks with the capacity of a tardis when they are set up they have more gear than my father carries in his old camping trailer as usual you treat us with more skill and honesty than a half dozen others and again many thanks for sharing your time and skills
Hej Tom, another great video thank you. I enjoy your video’s so much. I must remark on your fire making skill. You make it look sooo easy! That is a fine tweezer you made Tom and I would love to have a tomahawk like yours. It is a beautiful woodland and the weather was so amazing - crisp and clear. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the tomahawk vid. Vi ses
Thanks Leopold for your always positive feedback 👍🏻 I’m working on the tomahawk video … and perhaps I’ll launch it later today 🤔😊👍🏻 Atb to you and your family 🤗
Another great video! I really like seeing the things you make and it would be nice to see them being made, like the tweezers, coffee container and anything else. Thanks , from Australia.
Thanks my friend 👍🏻😁 I know it would be cool if I made videos of all my projects … my wife tells me that all the time 😇🤔 … but making a video each time I’m creating a new item 😉 is time consuming … and the camera work.. is disturbing my hand craft process. Don’t know if you understand my reasons BUT 👌🏻😉 I’ve made a video about my new tomahawk 👍🏻 It will be on UA-cam soon Thanks for your feedback 🙏🏻

New subscriber here. I love the retro style gear, it fits my style very well. Looked like a very nice day outing, thanks for sharing. Take care my friend.
Very enjoyable video for me putting a tarp up helps keep the Draft of me when you stop nothing worse than getting cold when you have been walking and want to enjoy a cup of coffee my important ingredient is a drop of Brandy I like your little pincer device nice you made it from Antler I most re watch your video on how to char the fungus there is a lot of horse shoe fungus in the woods where I work the tomahawk looks great now you have it outside it looks very old school now nice short video but most interesting to me as I like old school Gear myself ATB Geoff .☕
To be out there in a snow storm would be glorious but only if you have warmth . To watch the fire light flicker of the snow flake that fall is very pretty.
@@cimbrerbushcraft-vikingheritag we been getting lots of heavy snow fall lately for about five years straight now. I suspect it will be the same again this year. You should try your hand at coming to Minnesota. I think you might find it interesting. At they have found many years ago that the Vikings had made it here. They found remnants of them off the lake of superior. Probably why our football team is called the Vikings. Plus it is very pretty in the winters. How ever. In January and February it can get very cold north of Brainerd. Like thirty to fourty below zero. Summer can get very hot in july and August. And humid. Fall is pretty because of all the red from maple . I think you might enjoy it. We have alot of free camping we call disperse camping and there of course is paid camp grounds as well. Any where from seventeen to thirty five dollars a day. Then what you might enjoy most would be the renaissance festival. If you do come plan a month. And rent a r.v. the renaissance i think happens in August not sure. Its been years since i went. You can buy all sorts of stuff. Swords. Knifes. Armor. Leather stuff. Jewelry. Last i knew they had a castle. Made of wood but yea. And lots of real good food and ale.
Thank you so much Aaron for your information about the area your living in 😁👍🏻 it sure sounds interesting and I do hope that I’ll be able to visit your wonderful country sometime in the future. 🇺🇸 Thanks for following me on my little adventures here in Denmark 🇩🇰🏕🔥🌲🐕Tom
Thanks my friend for taking us for a good coffee out in the snow. Very Nice addition to your fire kit 👌👌👌 Agree 100% with you regarding the flask content, using high end whisky, rum, brandy or other in coffee is pure waste. Take care and don't worry spring is coming with his herds of mosquitoes and others bloodsuckers 😉👊✌️💨☕️

My friend, that’s a major major finger saver from all those hot chard pieces lol, tweezers, that’s genius, it’s crazy how cold your weather looks, I live in Florida, we’re mid 70 degrees, my friend all you have to do is start a fire and boil a cup of coffee and I’ll watch it, I’m so thankful for your calm videos, may the Good Lord bless you and yours
Another cracking video my friend! I pitched my tarp pretty much the same way in my last overnight camp (video in my channel if interested haha). I like those little tweezers, great idea! Take care, Mark
Fab! Looks great love the tarp configuration 👍🏻. Bet that coffee is better than the instant over here 😂😂. Thanks fella. As always great viewing. Keep it up bach. Yep gotta have a tot. Whiskey 👍🏻👍🏻
>In your area birds sing 4 season ,as if it is spring . When you add nice sounds you better pay attention to that as well . I enjoy your videos and Thank you
Hmm 🤔 … well yes 😉 It’s a little bit difficult. In Norway they are sold everywhere … and not particularly expensive But I’ll guess you can find it on eBay or Amazon 👌🏻😊🌤🌲
Brilliant videos love them, I’m literally just starting out my self. So brilliant videos and keeping it simple. Can I ask you what coffee do you use? Just wondering I know you partially made the small pot you keep it in I’m trying to make one my self. Brilliant channel
Hi Paul 👋🏻 It’s a little bit time consuming to filming when I’m out … but also a fun. The editing takes about 3-4 hours afterward … but this is also exiting to do 😁 I like it very much and it is a challenge every time and I love it Have a nice weekend 😃
Is that a Stanley hip flask? I really like mine. Impossible to lose the cap. Really enjoy your videos. chocolate cookies, coffee, and whiskey in the snow. Does it get any better? Only if you have a venison steak and asparagus for supper.
Yes that’s the flak 👍🏻😉 And your absolutely right 😇 Nothing is better than enjoying life in the forest with some nice things to drink and eat Thanks for your feedback 🌤
I really enjoy watching your videos. I would like to know if I could purchase a tomahawk like yours....I’ve always wanted one. You’ve become my favorite channel to watch. Thanks for all you do. Please don’t forget info on where I can get the exact tomahawk. -Stephen
Hi Stephen 👋🏻 I’ve bought my Tomahawk here: www.lamnia.com/da/p/17040/vaerktojer/crkt-woods-nobo-t-hawk-tomahawk-2732 The website is Lamnia.com and the name of the tomahawk is: CRKT Woods Nobo T-hawk tomahawk 2732 It’s from the USA 🇺🇸 … so if you live there 🤔 you can probably find it cheaper there Good luck with finding it 👍🏻😁
Cimbrer Bushcraft Yes, I do live here in the States. I was able to buy it!!! Now all I need is a custom Sheath for it like yours. Would you mind telling me where I could get a Sheath just like yours? It really compliments the Tomahawk. -Stephen, Ohio
Well Stephen 😊 the sheath I have … I made myself. I don’t make them for sale 😏 so you have to search the internet to find one you like 🤔😉 Thanks for your feedback 👌🏻
Tom, I like those antler tweezers you made, they are cool and that tomahawk is really awesome. Can you please tell me what kind of tarp you are using and give me a link for it please sir. I hope you and your family are all doing well and enjoying your weekend. Give Cornelius a big giant Bushcraft hug for me my friend. ATB, Keith Alabama Bushcrafters
Thanks Keith 👍🏻😁 nice to hear from you … as always 🤗 The tarp is from DD Hammock in Great Britain 🇬🇧 but I think Dave Canterbury is selling them in the USA 🇺🇸 www.ddhammocks.com/product/ddtarp_olive_green_3x3?from_cat=2 Mine is coyote brown Cornelius says hello back to you. Atb to you my friend 😃
setting up the tarp is not just practice for me on days like these it does the same job as the oilcloth and deerhide sitting mat old cold and prone to aching after exercise a wind free shelter to make coffee is a perfect place also those who ask may be younger of body and experience but when their aching joints start to plague them they will start thinking our way my friend but as you say practice all skills till you can st up in the near dark or blizzard and you can live to be older and colder.
Cimbrer.... in many of your videos you use a mossy or "harie" looking tinder. What is it and where are you finding it?? Just interested. Thanks for sharing. Ax
There literally is as much snow outside in where I live, as high that shelter is. Closest weatherstation from where I live is roughly 4 kilometers away from here and it shows a 52 cm's to be the current snow depth there, the station is in suburban area, like I am. It's been a while when we have had this kind of winter, over a month of temperatures in between -10 and -30 all over the country. The snowbanks on the side of the roads here were ridiculous before they were ploughed away, and going in the forest means wading naval deep in the snow in so many places. But the birds are starting to sing here too. BTW, do you happen to have a magnifier with you for sunny days in your fire kit?
Waw that’s a lot of snow 😝 I’m glad we’re not having that kind of winter 👍🏻 😁 There is a magnifying glass in my Hudson Bay Company tin It’s inserted into the lid 😎
Cimbrer Bushcraft We all are. Two places in Finland with the same types winters, Lapland and North Karelia. Surviving in cold weather should come to us in our genes, but still teens here walk around with summer shoes and bare ankles, no matter is there snow up to their knees and is the temperature -25 or not.
Love the new video!! May I ask where you got your stove and what brand it is? Also, will you be doing an overnight any time soon? Keep up the good work, always enjoy watching you.☺️
Thanks Robyn for your feedback 👍🏻😁 It’s a Solo Stove Titan. I’ve bought it on the internet … amazon or eBay I’ll probably do a overnighter sometime in the spring. 😉 Have a nice weekend

… ups 🤪 sorry Richard 👌🏻
Great video as always , thank you. I can watch you make coffee with whiskey anytime. The tweezer made from antler is an interesting item

Another cracking video my friend! I pitched my tarp pretty much the same way in my last overnight camp (video in my channel if interested haha). I like those little tweezers, great idea! Take care, Mark

Great area, wish we had some snow
Hi Steve 👋🏻 … I understand you 😁👌🏻 but now I want 🌱
A beautiful shot video
Thanks a lot William 👍🏻😁
>In your area birds sing 4 season ,as if it is spring . When you add nice sounds you better pay attention to that as well . I enjoy your videos and Thank you
Thanks Bahram for your feedback and advice 👍🏻😁
I appreciate that very much
Stay positive my friend 😉👌🏻
Looks like a good day hike-always like your videos. Just wondering where I could get a small reindeer hide like yours??
Hmm 🤔 … well yes 😉 It’s a little bit difficult. In Norway they are sold everywhere … and not particularly expensive
But I’ll guess you can find it on eBay or Amazon 👌🏻😊🌤🌲
Cool 😎 Tarp Setup 👍
🙏🏻😉
nice video. and I agree with your explanation abut the tarp. We should always keep practicing. Thanks for sharing this video.
-Matej
Thanks Matej for your support and positive feedback 👍🏻😁
My dad & elders have the same idea on whiskey. Only when you drink it srraight does it matter. lol ... Cheers
Thanks Carmine for the feedback and support 👍🏻😁
Great to have that heritage 😇
See you on the next one 🌤🦌
Brilliant videos love them, I’m literally just starting out my self. So brilliant videos and keeping it simple. Can I ask you what coffee do you use? Just wondering I know you partially made the small pot you keep it in I’m trying to make one my self. Brilliant channel
It’s just ordinary coffee that I’ve grained my self. The small container I keep it in is made from pine bark 👍🏻😁
Thanks for bringing me along. Brian 77
Your welcome Brian 👍🏻😊
Very beutiful day..
Thanks 🙏🏻😁
So Mindful. Thank you.
Does it take long to keep setting up you camera and videoing; and then editing?
Hi Paul 👋🏻 It’s a little bit time consuming to filming when I’m out … but also a fun. The editing takes about 3-4 hours afterward … but this is also exiting to do 😁 I like it very much and it is a challenge every time and I love it
Have a nice weekend 😃
Cimbrer Bushcraft it's really appreciated 😀
The shelter also pools some of the heat off the camp stove I'd imagine.
Yes 👍🏻 😄 absolutely 🔥🌲
Thanks for your feedback
Great video buddy.
Cheers Kev
Thanks Kev 👍🏻🤗
Is that a Stanley hip flask? I really like mine. Impossible to lose the cap. Really enjoy your videos.
chocolate cookies, coffee, and whiskey in the snow. Does it get any better? Only if you have a venison steak and asparagus for supper.
Yes that’s the flak 👍🏻😉
And your absolutely right 😇
Nothing is better than enjoying life in the forest with some nice things to drink and eat
Thanks for your feedback 🌤
I really enjoy watching your videos. I would like to know if I could purchase a tomahawk like yours....I’ve always wanted one. You’ve become my favorite channel to watch. Thanks for all you do. Please don’t forget info on where I can get the exact tomahawk. -Stephen
Hi Stephen 👋🏻 I’ve bought my Tomahawk here: www.lamnia.com/da/p/17040/vaerktojer/crkt-woods-nobo-t-hawk-tomahawk-2732
The website is Lamnia.com and the name of the tomahawk is: CRKT Woods Nobo T-hawk tomahawk 2732
It’s from the USA 🇺🇸 … so if you live there 🤔 you can probably find it cheaper there
Good luck with finding it 👍🏻😁
Cimbrer Bushcraft Yes, I do live here in the States. I was able to buy it!!! Now all I need is a custom Sheath for it like yours. Would you mind telling me where I could get a Sheath just like yours? It really compliments the Tomahawk. -Stephen, Ohio
Well Stephen 😊 the sheath I have … I made myself. I don’t make them for sale 😏 so you have to search the internet to find one you like 🤔😉
Thanks for your feedback 👌🏻
Tom, I like those antler tweezers you made, they are cool and that tomahawk is really awesome. Can you please tell me what kind of tarp you are using and give me a link for it please sir. I hope you and your family are all doing well and enjoying your weekend. Give Cornelius a big giant Bushcraft hug for me my friend.
ATB,
Keith
Alabama Bushcrafters
Thanks Keith 👍🏻😁 nice to hear from you … as always 🤗
The tarp is from DD Hammock in Great Britain 🇬🇧 but I think Dave Canterbury is selling them in the USA 🇺🇸
www.ddhammocks.com/product/ddtarp_olive_green_3x3?from_cat=2
Mine is coyote brown
Cornelius says hello back to you. Atb to you my friend 😃
Big thumbs up as usual, first rate. Quick question, what animal skin do you put down on the ground cloth to keep you warm?!
Hi Clive 👋🏻 it’s from a reindeer
And it’s amazing how good an insulator it is 👌🏻😊 awesome
Many thanks, will have to start saving!
I dig the intro to your videos
Thanks Lone Wolf 🐺 👍🏻😉
setting up the tarp is not just practice for me on days like these it does the same job as the oilcloth and deerhide sitting mat old cold and prone to aching after exercise a wind free shelter to make coffee is a perfect place also those who ask may be younger of body and experience but when their aching joints start to plague them they will start thinking our way my friend but as you say practice all skills till you can st up in the near dark or blizzard and you can live to be older and colder.
Well spoken Richard 👍🏻 I’ve couldn’t have put it better 😉
Thanks 🙏🏻
Cimbrer.... in many of your videos you use a mossy or "harie" looking tinder. What is it and where are you finding it?? Just interested. Thanks for sharing. Ax
It’s jute twines I comb with a lice comb so that the fibers is untangle 👍🏻😁 … it’s great for tinde 🌲🔥🌤🦌Atb to you
always interesting to watch you.
Thanks Hamza 👌🏻😊 and always nice to hear from you
I hope to one day equal your fire skills. 😊 how is your solo stove holding up?
Waw that’s a lot of snow 😝
I’m glad we’re not having that kind of winter 👍🏻 😁
There is a magnifying glass in my Hudson Bay Company tin
It’s inserted into the lid 😎
Cimbrer Bushcraft When going up further to the north, they have even more snow. Somewhere between 1 and 1,5 meters - maybe even deeper.
That’s sounds awesome 😝 but I’m guess they are use to it
Cimbrer Bushcraft We all are. Two places in Finland with the same types winters, Lapland and North Karelia. Surviving in cold weather should come to us in our genes, but still teens here walk around with summer shoes and bare ankles, no matter is there snow up to their knees and is the temperature -25 or not.
I guess that’s teenagers in a nutshell 👍🏻😊 Atb to you 👋🏻
Nice equipment.
Thanks for your feedback and kind comment 👍🏻😁🐶
Love the new video!! May I ask where you got your stove and what brand it is? Also, will you be doing an overnight any time soon? Keep up the good work, always enjoy watching you.☺️
Thanks Robyn for your feedback 👍🏻😁 It’s a Solo Stove Titan. I’ve bought it on the internet … amazon or eBay
I’ll probably do a overnighter sometime in the spring. 😉
Have a nice weekend
Super Video :-)
Thanks 🙏🏻😁
My friend the ground clothe , did you say p&w bushcraft ?
PNW Bushcraft … located in the USA 🇺🇸 … you should visit their website 👍🏻😁 lots of cool stuff
Жалко в такой палатке жить нельзя и ночевать тоже !
Да, верно, но это может защитить меня от холодного ветра. Tom
@@cimbrerbushcraft-vikingheritag Это хорошо !

Thanks Stefan 👍🏻😉🏕🦌🇩🇰
Tom
Nice to see the snow :)
Can I ask: Is that a Kleen Kanteen bottle you use?
Nice vid thank you
I can see where the plow set would be ideal for the wind.
Thanks for your feedback 😁
Nice one!
Thanks Isaac 👍🏻😉
Hey ...nice wink brother .... I feel it's just for me. Still loving your videos
