oh my gosh, those eyes were DRAWN?? they are popping off the paper like the person is there, the eyes look wet, alive! UNBELIEVABLE! the HANDS, FINGERS! the texture of the leaf of the FLOWER! i am in awe
Diane Evans exactly what I thought
One of the greatest living artists of all time! Emanuele creates amazing soft edges, hard edges and gradations all in the right places. You can see he has such a deep understanding of anatomy as well. Its so beautiful to watch his videos.
I think the fabric is the most jaw-dropping part for me. wow
as an artist I am fucked up so much right now, as a human being I'm crying from admiration
I can't even believe there is ppl who disliked this piece of true art
+Marco Debart probably haters
+Marco Debart When it comes to taste well…nothing is written in stone. Now, as surprising as it may sound, I wouldn’t consider the drawing above completely “artistic” and no, it's not because i'm a hater, i'm totally aware of how difficult it is to copy a picture and clearly the guy in the video has some amazing skills, however the fact that he wants to reproduce an already existing image makes me doubt. You see, artists are known for CREATING things never done before which are rather unique (be either a photograph or a picture). With this said, i think the real art is in the picture Dascanio used as a reference and not his reproduction of it.
+HYBRIDM5 I know there are ppl that think like that. However the true meaning of the word art is more about what the creator is able to create, in the most facinating way possible.. Not just some paint to be trown on a canvas and then because the artist has some name and call it a masterpiece.
I challenge ppl to make a drawing like this dude did. (hope you know what i mean)
+Marco Debart i completely agree with you. I’d rather have Dascanio’s work in a museum than any of these so-called “conceptual artists”. This drawing is a clear demonstration of patience and skill, which is admirable. Technically speaking his work is flawless but, as i said before, the moment he wants to do an exact same COPY of an ALREADY DONE image, his composition looses the artistic spark. Art is about expression and it’s not possible for someone to express him/herself when doing a reproduction because, in order to get it right, you have to submit to the “rules” of the image (light, colours, shadows etc.)
+HYBRIDM5
agree with you.
this is art and to some people it's more like a skill to realstically copy a real object using hand.
Absolutely mind blowing. This is unbelievably amazing.
250 hours is a triumph!! I can imagine the artist speaks in a calm tone, paces his words, and his life is filled with peace at the patience he must have. Wow. This is exquisite!
I want people to realise that like this fabulous artist, we have ALL got a great talent and genius we never knew we had within us. Thanks to modern day dumbing down, many people feel they are failures and feel worthless. This is not true. I fyou have a great passion for something stick to it :)
+anthony salaiz I think he does this instead of watching tv
What do u mean by modern day dumbing down? Like from school?
+augie 7414 I think he meant modern day technology, TV, modern day music and social media Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and so on.
BTW your name is freakishly similar to his. Is that a coincidence or are you the same person?
@@usamanasher6852 I hate when people put down tech like it's bad. The internet is the future
@@celesteadeanes4478 you too. The internet isn't bad.
Wow, and here I am spending my time playing videogames for hundreds of hours. Awesome work!
take some time off playing games a couple hours or even minutes drawing
You can pay competitive and make some money!
After 45 years involved in atr, in most of its different mediums i can truly say that your work is just breathtaking, it is inspiring and makes me still hope to attain the levels you have reached, if that were ever possible which i doubt...great stuff
this kind of talent scares me
This prostration of life and love brought tears to my eyes. You have inspired me deeply.
Many times, when I am depressed when I feel that my work as a painter is not paying off, I watch your videos. I started to draw taking you as inspiration and when I watch your videos again I feel motivated.
Who in their right mind would dislike such a thing! This is FANTASTIC!
RATE? "Thumbs up" isnt sufficient for brilliant
The most amazing thing is that he did the drawing in less than 10 minutes!!! I wonder what he charges per hour? Probably at least 20-35 dollars an hour at that speed!
You are brilliant.
Not just the technique, but the commitment with the project. God! I bet you point your pencils every time they disappeared in the screen. That's like three or four swings. ahahah. You are an inspiration for all artist and for all that respect their projects.
Your unbelievable and Im gonna say that time is extremely valuable. And everything is done for a reason or another.Your may feel your waisting your time but people admire your work and in the long run you will realize you were not waisting your time, you were just caught in the moment and the mood.Keep drawing sweetheart.
Dascanio, you are the superhero of art, always unbelievable, always fantastic, congratulations, big hug from Portugal.
This isn't just a painting. This is a story in itself. Unbelievably splendid!
Where do u see paint?
Je suis artiste comme toi. I'm an artist who loves to compete against other artists, that's how i push myself. You, sir, you're on the top of my list.
There are few videos that I can't see how people dislike, but this is one of them. This is a marvel to say the least.
have never seen a drawing look more like a photograph than this. Wouldn't believe it if i hadn't seen it
I love watching these but find not much meaning in them without an accompanying list of specific pencils, boards, preparation etc, Beautifil work though.
Non finisco mai di stupirmi per il talento degli artisti in questo canale!
Awesome. Like the work. Respect real artists like you.
Angel hands with beautiful soul you have god bless you thanks for sharing your artwork
This is so beautiful. It is like out of a photo. This is my first video to watch hyperrealism drawing. Wow!! I wish i could be that good!!!
during some frames i think that the artist's body is part of the drawing. i also feel very emotional like i almost want to cry.
Thanks for sharing Emanuele, anyone who cares that much about creating beauty is a force for good in the world! and my god, what skill, astonishing, even the underdrawing is superb...let alone all the texture, lighting and shading...
This kind of art is real art, not modern art that looked like a 5 year old drew it, or is just a box of color, think you should have way more views
Nah. That's art, but it's not realy that hard as you think (as you see he have special pencils for this kind of drawnings.. they have more paint alike texture). Not kind of art is hard if you have passion and talent. Some of modern art is shit, yes. But some of hyperrealistic art are boring and.. easy.. and shit. So well, just look for good arist on your own and you will find. And remember, critics are biggest killers and enemies of art! Hyperrealistic can be good, sometimes can even be magical and creative (that's rare in this kind of art sadly). But remember Picasso, Dali, Klee, Gogh, many many others, i can talk whole life? Don't be ignorant. Being ignorant kills art and creativity.
Magnificent! Perfect! Awesome! Genuine! Mind blowing!

Very amazing work!
A few more minutes of that song and I may have peeled my face off but other than that - absolutely amazing. I swear it's almost as if they sped the camera up or something. Also never seen anyone use a rotten carrot to create shades with but that was cool too. Many firsts for me here.
AMAZING ! JUST AMAZING !!!
Really great job ...... Thanks for the video

What kind of pencil you use to make your drawings, in the details if possible, would like to congratulate you for the beautiful work of art.
