I started pulling my eyelashes and eyebrows when I was 8 due to anxiety and 10 years later I’m still doing it. The best thing I can say for you is to seek help early instead of down playing it like I did. I wish all of you luck in your journeys!

As someone who used to pull out their eyelashes a lot having fake nails/growing out my nails helped me back then. I don’t pull that much anymore and it’s mainly because I’m constantly working with my hands and talking to friends which distracts me from things that stress me out. So for anyone scrolling through the comments that’s what currently helps me the most. And for anyone who wants promote hair growth use oils like castor oil, vitamin e oil, coconut oil, argan oil, and jojoba oil

When you start touching them, get up right away and wash your hands. If that doesn't work wash some dishes. IF that doesn't work put on some jewelers cloth finger protectors, you can find those on Amazon. The key is interrupting the process.

Thank you SOO much for this video! I’m a minor hair puller with only the eyelashes and eyebrows and I go through phases. I’m really trying to pinpoint the cause so it was so helpful to know about the app! I also love the reminder of long glue on nails (it’s true, they really do help) as well as the new to me suggestion of castor oil. I’m going to try all these things!

For the eyelash pullers, wearing glasses helps me realize when I’m pulling. I need them to see, but even if you don’t, just get some fake glasses with fake lenses and just wear them around the house or in situations that trigger you to pull. This really helps for me to wear my glasses simply when reading or editing even if the screen or page is really close to my face.

hey, it's official been 3 days since i've stopped ik that's not a lot but it is to me it's the longest i've went. last month i tried to stop then on january 11th i had a relasped then i quit. i started again last week i finally have control over myself. i just wanted to let yall know that YOU CAN DO THIS IT IS POSSIBLE 1). find what triggers you ex boredom always have something to do, mirrors stay away from mirrors it's a rlly big problem
2). KEEP YOUR HANDS busy!! i've been playing games like subway surfers and piano tiles to keep my hands moving lol it helps if you don't wanna play any games you could also read books or go for walks, meditate etc
3). believe in yourself it IS possible.
4). stop thinking about it the more you think abt it the more you want to do it
5). please don't make an account where you count the days download apps like quit that! so you don't have to be constantly reminded just check whenever you want
    6). IT'S OKAY TO RELASPE
7). if you're like me and you have thoughts like " they'll never grow back so what's the point " they will use vaseline or castor oil and rub it on your eyelid every night & morning you've got this also i'm here if you ever need to talk
