    The fact that Corey offered more than the value suggests it’s clearly worth a lot more!

      It probably is worth more but from a buyers perspective paying more means they have more to lose.
      Just because something has a value of $8000 does not mean it will sell for that it could be more or it could be less.

    • @RighteousWeevil
      @RighteousWeevil 4 роки тому +1

      Cuz without a bill of sale for the engraving work to be done its impossible to authenticate. Engraving wasnt done by JP Coles personally so you cant authenticate the handwriting, only thing you could check is whether the engraving is old enough to have been done in the time period and that only corroborate's, doesn't prove. Unless he's got a bill of sale signed by the guy for the engraving work (with serial numbers included) or an established timeline of provenance that side of the story falls squarely in hearsay.

      @punchout they don't actually work there lol its purely for filming the show lol. The shop doesn't sell most of the items you see on TV. It's basically a memorabilia gift shop you ever noticed when they're filming the show nobody speaks or leaves lol? It's all staged. It's still an interesting show and the history of the items is real but 90% is purely for show and the cast we see on TV don't work there day to day. It's pretty common knowledge and easy to find proof on Google and UA-cam.
