Tiffany has probably inspired so many from this generation, I never knew someone’s piano playing could speak so loud

Interview younger pianist encourage them to carry on classical music to next generation. Partolomeo Cristofori would appreciate you pushing his invention to the future! I know Tiffany's piano has spirit can talk to her😏🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🙂

As an older person I love programs like this with young people - it gives me a warm feeling that our future is in good hands.

I’m auditioning for undergrad right now and I wish I had taken a gap year! Best of luck to Felicitas!

I really admire Felicitas' selfless commitment to environmental causes. One thing I couldn't help but think about during this interview is that "setbacks" such as her being temporarily discouraged from pursing piano can actually lead to very positive life-changing moments. In her case, it allowed her to zoom out and think about the big picture of her life and what she really wanted to do (with or without the piano), instead of single-mindedly focusing on her piano development.

There are approaches that allow smaller handed pianists to play larger works without stretching uncomfortably - see Taubman and Golandsky here on UA-cam. There's a Taubman teacher here in Berlin. Good luck!

Tiffany although feeling 'old' was sensitive and supportive without appearing as a 'mother superior' in this encouraging interview. Interesting to note in Music as in Engineering there are many 'qualifying rounds' before an interview for work or higher training is available.

I am the same age as Felicita and am currently finishing conservatory with an eye toward performing arts or other higher musical education. My parents have always (and continue) to support my piano and other musical endeavors. Best of luck with whichever direction your journey takes!

I did ballet to learn French , it was so painful the French just came so naturally . Studied classical piano music to learn jazz , as the sounds were so sweet that the left hand just seemed to excel to the point of no return leaving the right , never capable of going wrong . Studied extreme sport and acrobatics to learn juggling , as the dangers were so real my mind began to understand , what people needed from my juggles .
