I will be enjoying xmas and then getting my ducks in a row in the new year. Happy to hear best way to do things and what to be aware of in general Thanks in advance
Responsible fiscal policy requires the raising of taxes. Britain has had chronic underfunding of all sectors of public services. Tax raises are needed. Jesus, how do you think we actually pay for the health service, benefits, and investment in the state? Maybe you have some answers as to how to fix the issues that have eplauged the last 15 years?
I've been there three times and it's pleasant enough, minimal culture shock for British people and even the famed Manx weather usually isn't THAT bad. The Achilles heel of the IoM and indeed all the British dependent territories is housing, rather lack of it: almost no chance to rent a place to get a foot in the door, for example. It is what it is, I guess. I'm in one of Nomad's favourites, Malaysia, right now, but basically travelling and ensuring non-UK tax residence above all else, then taking it from here.
I want to get out of the UK but I’m not a millionaire- but about to receive an inheritance of a few 100k an EU citizen, any suggestions on how I can get a residents permit for Dubai?🙏🙏
The UK is completely sunk. On a lighter note to demonstrate the squandering of money the street light outside my neighbours house has been on day and night for at least the last 7 years , as she has retired it's been a bit of a pastime for her trying to get it turned off 🤣 .......it's still on, but better put tax up instead of plugging the holes.
I'm no specialist but I logically look at what the situation in UK is. Lots of people are getting minimum wage and cannot realistically improve their life. On the other hand lots of people can set their wages to what they want as well as overpaid public sector workers cause runaway salaries in recent years. They all claim they need more money because of high inflation and housing costs, but real reason is that they demanded/set their own high wages, because they could, by pressuring those who use their services. This started during the Cbug19 and continues. Nobody wants to work only want a pay check. This is why the budget did the right thing by counteracting runaway salaries with higher tax and increasing minimum wages inline with the mean number for the rest of the population. I think that everyone who complains about the budget have only one aim is to complain about anything and they don't really present their case well.
So you are unhappy with people cause they getting higher wages cause those costs are passed to consumers and so it's good that taxes on those higher minimum wages had in practice rised?

The minimum wage will increase by around £1 per hour. However the amount you can earn before we have to pay tax and national insurance is £12500 roughly. Now you will pay 15% national insurance once you have earned £5000. With the 1.2% NI increase a person working 40 hours a week at minimum wage despite the pay rise will be roughly £300 per year better off. If inflation drops to 1% that person will still be worse off.
Leave the WEF occupational regime surrounded by muslims who will not respond well to their existence. Everyone normal jump ship.

This as very informative, thank you!

I absolutely agree 💯. UAE on my radar in the near future.
I'm an American who moved to South Africa in 2007, and I'm doing well. Things are looking up with the new government here as well. And..... they speak English.... Ha ha!!!
Ironic coming from this logo, but the pound is finished.

If I am tax domiciled overseas and on death leave my estate in that country to my son who is still in the UK, would that be subject to UK IHT or taxation of the country the assets are in?
It’s ok, my investments are all long term… I don’t intend to realise profits for at least 20 years… and I’m certainly not keeping my savings in a fiat currency… assets only

It seems like the UK is attempting to follow what Venezuela has been doing. It won't end well.

Cutring goverment 's expendings which is something politicians don't like to do.
Such as?
Did you ever consider making a video with The Duran? I think it would be an interesting conversation. And on topic since Alexander is UK based.
In essence all politicians are trustees and we are the beneficiaries. it’s time to call the board
How do you manage this if you have kids
And also if you cant afford that kind of investment
We do ask them Andrew but starmer keeps calling them right wing and throwing them in prison !
Good rant Hendo!
Easiest option is to move to the Isle of Man.
Boring
It is indeed boring
@@ajarvis888 Better than paying 99% taxes to a government that hates you.
What about Gibraltar
Last time I was this early UK still had an economy.

I want to get out of the UK but I’m not a millionaire- but about to receive an inheritance of a few 100k an EU citizen, any suggestions on how I can get a residents permit for Dubai?🙏🙏
What about owning a property in UK if not a resident?
There’s nuance to the farmers IHT threshold of £1 million.
With various allowances it increases to £3 million.
Nuance being married with a child.
Also add a video on Germany. Their PMI just came out late last week and it was a disaster. Europe as a whole is sinking.
It's being destroyed on purpose; Blackrock/ the Federal Reserve wants to own it ALL.
poor cant leave.
This is why Uk will collapse, poor people cannot pay these taxes and their public services and healthcare
Yeah.
We're in for a fiscal fisting!!
Exit tax coming to all Western countries. They know huge numbers are looking at the exit, so they’ll try and stop them.
But why do they want to create those taxes?

62p in every £1 goes for tax - It is mad
I don't understand what you're trying to say. Please explain it to me in simple terms.

What about Gibraltar ?
The budget of growth! lol
Growth in unemployment and poverty, how can they possibly think that anything they are doing is going to help. Higher taxes, more difficult to start a business, IR35, etc Why would anyone invest in the UK? I left in August, they will no longer get my money... and I used to pay a lot in tax.
Nothing they have done is going to encourage growth!
